GIRLS ALOUD star CHERYL COLE has denied she stormed out of a recent covershoot with Vogue magazine - insisting the story "is not true".
Cole - who is also a judge on British TV talent show The X Factor - was reported to have argued with one of the stylists on the set of the shoot and walked out.
British magazine Heat claimed Cole "felt ignored" and "clashed" with fashion guru Bay Garnett, allegedly leaving shortly after the photographer began work.
But a spokesman for the star has denied the claims, saying, "This story is not true. Cheryl was happy on the shoot and loved her time there. She stayed until the end and did not storm out."

Singer MARIAH CAREY always knew she would marry her toyboy lover NICK CANNON and insists the rapper/actor is her "soulmate".
The pop superstar wed Cannon in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in April (08) after a whirlwind romance.
And she admits she knew from the moment they met that they would be man and wife.
She tells Hello magazine, "We kind of knew from the beginning that we were going to get married. It’s hard to describe but we knew immediately.

British pop star LILY ALLEN has slammed her American rival KATY PERRY branding her lyrics "crass" and criticising her for not writing her own songs.
Allen is adamant that Perry was only given a record deal because U.S. music moguls wanted to create their own version of the Smile hitmaker.
And she is convinced the I Kissed A Girl singer’s music is a just a poor imitation of her own.
She tells British radio station Capital Fm, "I happen to know for a fact that she was an American version of me. She was signed by my label in America as, ‘We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen.’ And then they found her… I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crass.
"When I met her I was a bit frosty with her because someone asked her to describe herself. She’s like, ‘Aha, I’m like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!’. It’s like, you’re not English and you don’t write your own songs, shut up!"

KEVIN FEDERLINE has praised his ex-wife BRITNEY SPEARS’ parenting skills insisting the singer is a "great" mum.
Federline split from the Toxic hitmaker in 2006, and was awarded custody of their children Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.
But despite their acrimonious break-up and Spears’ public meltdown, Federline insists the pop star is a brilliant mother.
He tells Hello magazine, "I haven’t been around her too much in the last couple of years but other than that, she’s a great mother. Really hands on with the kids.
"She spends a lot of time with them. She loves to play with them a lot. She really cares about them and I know they’re a big piece of her life." He adds: "I’m happy that they get to spend time with their mother. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I definitely feel like their mom is really, really important in their life and it is really working out well right now."

. Area Film Critics Association.
Ledger has been named Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight by the critics.
Slumdog Millionaire claimed its second major U.S
. Best Film prize, while Oscar favourites Mickey Rourke and Meryl Streep won the Best Actor and Best Actress honours for The Wrestler and Doubt, respectively.
The cast of Doubt also walked away with Best Acting Ensemble, while Rosemarie DeWitt won Best Supporting Actress for Rachel Getting Married.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ recent comeback has been diminished by her lack of self-confidence following her public meltdown, according to the singer’s mum LYNNE.
The 53-year-old has watched the Toxic hitmaker go through a number of personal problems after losing custody of her two sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, last year (07) - including when she was hospitalised for a mental evaluation in January (08).
And while the elder Spears is proud her daughter is attempting to reclaim her success, she knows the 27-year-old still suffers with crippling self-doubt.
Lynne says, "I think Britney’s happy in most ways - very happy with her kids and ecstatic about work. But there’s something missing in her life.
"That gut belief she had in herself when she was so young - that’s what’s missing, and she’s got to get that back. She could set the world on fire in those days, and she knew exactly what she wanted. But the hardships she’s been through have made her a little hesitant. She needs one big boost, one plug of energy and she’ll be there."

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and funnyman ANDY SAMBERG teamed up for another hilarious musical skit on Saturday night (06Dec08).
The duo, who claimed an Emmy Award for their D**k In A Box music video, joined forces again for another saucy romp, Jizz In My Pants, on comedy skit show Saturday Night Live.
Timberlake played a janitor in the new video, which also featured model/actress Molly Sims and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
Sims admits she jumped at the chance to be part of the skit - even though it was risque.
She tells Eonline.com, "They were like, ‘We have to warn you. Just have some imagination.’ They sent it to me. Yeah, it was weird when I was just listening to the track." Sims and Sigler played the objects of the affection of over-amorous suitors in the hilarious video.

MARIAH CAREY has once again been forced to deny she is pregnant - following fresh rumours she is expecting.
Carey has been dogged by the rumours over the last few months, but has constantly refused to confirm whether she is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon.
And internet gossips were sent into a spin this week (beg07Dec08) after New York Post gossip column PageSix received reports that Carey was seen exiting a gynaecology clinic in Los Angeles waving an ultrasound picture.
A source tells the publication, "(Carey was) clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient." But a representative for the star has denied the claims, saying, "As far as I’m told, it’s not true."

GWYNETH PALTROW and CHRIS MARTIN celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in London over the weekend (06-07Dec08) - brushing off rumours their marriage is in trouble.

TWILIGHT star ROBERT PATTINSON fears for his life after shooting to fame with the hit film - because he worries fans will take the movie’s dark storyline too far.
The British actor plays vampire Edward Cullen in the new movie and has been besieged by teenagers asking him to bite their necks.
And Pattinson is worried that some fans of the cult picture will confuse fiction with reality and try to harm him.
He says, "People ambush me in public and ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair. I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me AIDS and I don’t want to get shot or stabbed. This is my life." Pattinson admits that his fears reached new heights following the film’s Los Angeles premiere last month (Nov08) - because of the deafening noise of all the screaming girls.
He adds, "I thought, ‘Oh my God. Are they going to blow the place up?’"

DOCTOR WHO star DAVID TENNANT has been forced to pull out of a scheduled performance of HAMLET due to an ongoing back injury.
The 37-year-old is currently starring in the Shakespearean play alongside former Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart.
But Tennant had to scrap his Monday (07Dec08) night performance at London’s Novello Theatre because of his back problems.
The sold-out show recently transferred from Stratford-Upon-Avon, England to the British capital, and production company officials hope that Tennant will be back on his feet ahead of a planned performance in front of London’s fiercest theatre critics on Tuesday (09Dec08) night.
A spokesperson for the Royal Shakespeare Company says, "We’re waiting to hear whether he’ll be able to perform."

MATTHEW RHYS defied a horseriding ban from bosses of his TV show BROTHERS & SISTERS - and ended up with a black eye.
The Welsh actor ignored an insurance contract forbidding him from taking part in dangerous activities to star in his own Welsh TV show, The Magnificent Seven with Matthew Rhys, in which he learns how to become a cowboy.
And Rhys admits he had some explaining to do to his Disney bosses when he ended up suffering an injury while riding.
He says, "I had to rope a calf and its hoof went straight into my face. I pretended I’d had an accident at a wedding."

MICKEY ROURKE fears he wouldn’t have been able to work with director DARREN ARONOFSKY 15 years ago - because the moviemaker is so "in your face".
Rourke is being hotly tipped for his first Oscar for his portrayal of a battered fighter in Aronofsky’s The Wrestler - but he admits he would have hated working for the director in his heyday.
He tells WENN, "Back then, I didn’t care about repercussions, just this sort of macho s**t thing that you grow up with, especially with an authoritative figure.
"Fifteen years ago I don’t know if I would’ve gotten along with Darren Aronofsky. I really doubt if I would’ve lasted a day with him because he is in your face. He pointed his little pink finger at me the first day we met and he said, ‘You’re gonna listen to everything I say and do everything I tell you and you’re never gonna disrespect me in front of the crew, and I can’t pay you by the way.’ "I knew I had to go there emotionally and physically; it was the not paying me that upset me the most."

DENNIS YOST, lead singer of the 1960s group the CLASSICS IV, has died at the age of 65.
The star passed away on Sunday (07Dec08) at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.
A hospital spokeswoman confirmed he died of respiratory failure.
Yost was best known for his work with the 1960s pop group, who enjoyed hits with songs including Spooky, Stormy and Traces of Love.
Yost continued to perform with Classics IV until 2006 when he suffered a major brain injury following a fall. He spent the rest of his life in nursing homes.
His wife, Linda Yost, says, "I’m still in shock because he was fine Saturday morning. And by, you know, early Sunday morning he was gone." Yost is survived by his wife and five children. A memorial service is planned for this weekend (12-14Dec08).

Legendary British singer PAUL WELLER has slammed LED ZEPPELIN’s comeback plans - and insisted he will never reform his old band THE JAM.
The Kashmir hitmakers announced in October (08) that they plan to tour in 2009 without frontman Robert Plant, who has opted out of the reunion shows.
But Weller has hit out at the remaining members for deciding to reform without the singer - announcing he has "no interest" in seeing them play live next year (09) and would never consider a similar comeback for his popular rock band The Jam.
He says, "There’s no point to it. I don’t understand the need for nostalgia.
I don’t get it. I don’t know where it’s come from. Someone offered me a ticket to see Led Zep.
"I’ve no interest whatsoever to go and see people reform, you know. I’m happy with what they’ve done at the time and the records and your memories and that’s it really."

MOTORHEAD’s rock and tattoo tour with punk icons SOCIAL DISTORTION has been abandoned due to the economic crisis in America.
The two acts were to headline the 2009 MUSINK Tattoo & Music tour, but all dates have been cancelled.
The U.S. tour was scheduled to launch on 30 January (09).
MUSINK co-producer Kat Von D says, "I’m sad that this year’s festival will not go on as planned, but I’d rather the fans not be disappointed, as there were key elements that did not come together as originally designed."

Arizona police chiefs have reportedly offered a $5,000 (£3,425) reward for information leading to the arrest of rapper DMX.
The star - real name Earl Simmons - was scheduled to appear at an Arizona court to face charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty on Friday (05Dec08).
But after missing the hearing, the court issued a bench warrant for his arrest and ordered the star to hand over a $120,000 (£82,107) cash bond to avoid time in jail.
And now the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office has offered a $5,000 (£3,425) reward to track down the rapper, according to TMZ.com.
A lawyer for DMX has claimed the rapper is currently in rehab at an undisclosed location.
A bench warrant was also issued on the rapper in September (08) when he missed a previous appearance at an Arizona court after being hospitalised for symptoms reportedly associated with a stroke. He later appeared for a short hearing.
