CAREY KNEW ‘IMMEDIATELY’ SHE WOULD MARRY CANNON
Singer MARIAH CAREY always knew she would marry her toyboy lover NICK CANNON and insists the rapper/actor is her "soulmate".
The pop superstar wed Cannon in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in April (08) after a whirlwind romance.
And she admits she knew from the moment they met that they would be man and wife.
She tells Hello magazine, "We kind of knew from the beginning that we were going to get married. It’s hard to describe but we knew immediately.
"I know people are going to be like, ‘There’s no way!’ but neither of us had any doubts that we were truly meant for each other. He is my soulmate."
