Los Angeles police have issued an arrest warrant for a woman they believe gunned down MARK RUFFALO’s younger brother SCOTT.
The 39-year-old hairdresser is currently in a critical condition at an L.A.
hospital after he was reportedly shot in the back of the head outside his Beverly Hills home on Monday (01Dec08).
Shaha Mishaal Adham, identified as one of two "persons of interest" in the incident on Friday (05Dec08), has been named the prime suspect in the attempted murder investigation, according to Web site TMZ.com.
Adham, reportedly related to members of Saudi Arabian royalty, has allegedly signed hired high profile attorney Keith Davidson to defend her in the case.

Soul singer D’ANGELO has dismissed rumours he has signed to SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS’ Bad Boy Records, insisting there is no truth to the claims.
The Brown Sugar star was alleged to have quit his current contract with J Records/RCA Music Group and aligned with Combs.
But the reports have been shot down by D’Angelo’s manager Lindsay Guion.
She tells AllHipHop.com, "While both gentlemen hold one another in the highest regard, the stories circulating in the press are totally false." D’Angelo is due to release his highly-anticipated third album in the coming months.

The son of late AC/DC rocker BON SCOTT is bidding to play his dad in a planned biopic.
Director Eddie Martin revealed last week (4Dec08) he is planning a movie based on the life of the star, who died in 1980, aged just 33, during an interview with website Undercover.com.au.
The news prompted the singer’s 35-year-old son Ben - whose mother is Gloria Torrance - to write to the website, asking to be cast in the lead role.
He says, "Upon seeing in the papers last week the articles of how Eddie would like to do a bio of my Dad I wondered what Bon would have thought about this and I also wondered what some of Bon’s mates would think too. Right then I decided that I really needed to ‘put my hat into the ring’ so to speak; because I believe that if I were given the chance there would be a lot of people who would really enjoy seeing Bon’s son on the big screen. Realistically though…
I really understand that I have no training in acting so my chances are pretty slim. But hey, you gotta be in to win it".

British singing sensation ADELE is hoping she misses out on the four Grammy Awards she has been nominated for, because she’d rather strive and struggle for success, than win everything with her very first album The 20-year-old shot to fame in 2008 with debut LP 19, which was well-received on both sides of the Atlantic, earning her nominations in the Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Song of the Year categories.
But she insists she won’t be nervous at the 1 February (08) ceremony, because she isn’t ready for such a huge accolade.
The London-born star says, "I imagine it’s like winning an Oscar and I don’t think on this record I should get one. I think it should be with my second or third record that I should get the Oscar, like from your third or fourth film when you’re amazing.
"If I won one, it would be really important to me but I can’t even think about that. Sorry, it’s making my heart race really fast. It would be lovely to get one but I don’t feel like I need awards and stuff to feel good about my music. I can’t see how this album life span could get any better and I don’t feel like it needs to be. I’m already over the moon and blown away with people’s response to it."

Rocker SCOTT WEILAND has brushed off rumours he has gone back to booze after reportedly showing up intoxicated at a recent New York concert.
In May (08) Weiland was handed a court order to attend an 18-month alcohol rehab program, stemming from his 2007 arrest for driving under the influence (DUI).
According to a source at the New York Daily News, the rocker was "hitting the hard stuff backstage and was noticeably messed up” during his solo gig at the Fillmore-Irving Plaza on Friday (05Dec08).
The source adds, “He was over an hour late to take the stage, and audience members were commenting on how drunk and sloppy he seemed.
“It didn’t help that the crowd was booing him and shouting at him to play his Stone Temple Pilots." A spokesperson for Weiland has denied the claims and has not issued further comment.

Legendary movie tough guy ROBERT DE NIRO was so overjoyed with U.S.
president-elect BARACK OBAMA’s historic election win in November (08), he was moved to tears.
De Niro was an outspoken supporter of the Democrat throughout his campaign for the White House, speaking at public rallies to gather financial backing for the politician’s election trail.
And the veteran actor couldn’t hide his emotions as Obama’s win was announced - especially after his producer pal Art Linson started to well up.
He tells Britain’s Sunday Times magazine, "He (Linson) cried. It was ridiculous. He cried." When quizzed if he joined in with his pal’s tears, De Niro admits, "I did (cry). I did." And the Oscar-winner is adamant America’s future would be at stake if Obama’s political rival John McCain and his Republican administration had been voted into office instead.
He adds, "It would have been a disaster for our country, and the world, if it had gone the other way. Period. Thank God."

British pop star LILY ALLEN has confirmed she has been sober since September (08) - insisting she has given up drink and drugs for the foreseeable future.
The Smile hitmaker is due to release her new album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, in February (09) and has quit her wild lifestyle to focus on her music.
And although Allen admits she won’t be able to keep up her good behaviour forever, she is happy to stay away from the London party circuit right now because she fears becoming known as a drunk.
She says, "I’ve become a character in a comic… and that character is always drunk! I wish my comic character wasn’t that.
"(I have been sober) since 22 September. I have no intention of taking drugs again at the moment. But I can’t say ‘Never again’, because I don’t know where I’ll be in 10 years’ time. And I will definitely drink in the future, just not for a while."

Singer LILY ALLEN accidentally flashed her breasts at former BLUR frontman DAMON ALBARN after a disastrous recording session.
The pair was scheduled to record a track together in February (08) but after a long day in the studio they failed to come up with any good ideas.
And Allen admits the difficult session got even worse - the buttons on her shirt popped open as she left the studio, revealing her "bra-less chest" to Albarn.

JAMES BOND star DANIEL CRAIG has denied the next 007 will be a sequel to QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
The latest superspy picture - which followed on from Craig’s debut in 2006’s Casino Royale - has been a major international hit, scoring high in box office charts the world over.
But Craig is adamant that his third outing as the secret agent will feature a brand new storyline.
He tells Collider, "No f**king way. I’m done with that story. I want to lie on a beach for the first half an hour of the next movie drinking a cocktail.
"We’ve finished this story as far as I’m concerned. We’ve got a great set of bad guys. There is an organisation that we can use whenever we want to. The relationship between Bond and M is secure and Felix is secure. Let’s try and find where Moneypenny came from and where Q comes from. Let’s do all that and have some fun with it." But Craig admits there is currently no filming schedule in place for the next Bond movie.
He adds, "Nobody’s thinking about it at the moment. We’re giving it a rest for the moment. If I can squeeze something in next year I will… but I haven’t figured out what that’ll be yet. But nothing in the cold."

Pop superstar MADONNA has launched legal action against a British newspaper for publishing intimate photographs of her 2000 wedding to GUY RITCHIE.
The former couple announced their split in October (08) and their divorce was finalised last month (Nov08).
And amidst the flurry of articles about the end of the pair’s relationship, the U.K.’s Mail on Sunday printed 11 photos of their Scottish nuptials - which were allegedly copied by an interior designer working at the singer’s Beverly Hills, California home.
Madonna is now suing the paper for more than $7.3 million (£5 million) in damages for breach of privacy and copyright.
At a hearing in London on Monday (08), judge Mr Justice Eady found in the star’s favour on the issue of liability, with officials at the publication admitting the charges.
Madonna’s barrister Matthew Nicklin accused the newspaper of "ambushing" the star by publishing the snaps of the "wholly private" event, held on 22 December 2000 at Skibo Castle in Scotland.
Further proceedings to assess the amount of damages to be awarded are expected to be heard at London’s High Court next year (09).

VICTORIA and DAVID BECKHAM were reportedly at the centre of a roadside scuffle this weekend (06-07Dec08) when the couple’s bodyguards squared up to the paparazzi.
The soccer stud is said to have exited his car in Los Angeles on Sunday (07Dec08) to confront a pursuing photographer. After the snapper refused to leave his vehicle, Beckham reportedly returned to his car and drove away with his wife, while the couple’s bodyguards went over and continued the dispute.
A brawl subsequently broke out, according to E! Online, and was attended by L.A. police.
A source tells E! Online, "They started fighting right in front of the police station… the bodyguards and the paparazzi started fighting. David went back to his car and he and Victoria drove off…The cops finally came and broke it up." Police have confirmed no one was arrested or injured during the incident.
Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Sgt. Gregg Mader says, "We took a report at the scene, but no one was taken into custody or cited. We’ll review what we have to see if further action needs to be taken." The scuffle - which was reportedly caught on camera by some of the photographers at the scene - was also confirmed by the Beckhams’ publicist, who declined to comment as the incident is now a "legal matter".

TILDA SWINTON has fond memories of her first meeting with JULIA director ERICK ZONCA - after they both tried unsuccessfully to gatecrash a glitzy showbiz party.
The British actress stars as a desperate alcoholic who kidnaps a young boy in the forthcoming movie, which is directed by Zonca.
And Swinton admits it was a bizarre meeting outside a swanky party at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where they were both refused entry, that first drew her attention to the acclaimed French filmmaker.
She says, "It became hilarious, and it involved trying to storm the door with a fire extinguisher. I was left with the memory of a very jolly individual, and then I saw his films."

BOND girl GEMMA ARTERTON has reportedly split from her Spanish stuntman lover EDUARDO MUNOZ.
The couple met on the set of Arterton’s upcoming movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time where Munoz was the star’s riding tutor.
But after a six month relationship the British actress has now decided to call time on the romance.
A friend of Arterton tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "She says she doesn’t have time to commit to a relationship. Eduardo is totally devastated."

An up-and-coming actor who starred in EMINEM’s movie 8 MILE has been found dead in an apparent suicide.
De’Angelo Wilson’s body was discovered in a room at a commercial premises in Los Angeles. It is believed he had hanged himself.
Wilson, who played DJ Iz in the 2002 movie and also starred in an episode of TV crime drama CSI: NY, is thought to have died on 26 November (08).
According to AllHipHop.com, Wilson’s mother did not have enough money to transport his body to the family’s home in Dayton, Ohio - so friends stepped in to help out.
Wilson had also appeared in several other movies including Antwone Fisher, The Salon, and Mercy Street.

Movie producer RYAN KAVANAUGH is facing jail this week, after he was arrested in October (08) for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving with a suspended licence, all while still on probation for an earlier DUI charge.
The 34-year-old financier, whose Hollywood credits include Charlie Wilson’s War, 3:10 to Yuma, 21 and the forthcoming musical Nine, was reportedly stopped by cops as he drove home from a film premiere in Los Angeles on 23 October (08).
It comes just two years after he was arrested for driving drunk in Malibu, California.
News of his arrest emerged on Friday (05Dec08), as it was revealed he will be arraigned at a Beverly Hills court on Friday 12 December (08).
A jail term could be handed out for both the second DUI charge and for violation of the probation he was placed on in 2006.
Kavanaugh’s Relativity Pictures has big money deals with almost every major movie studio, including a $550 million (£366 million) partnership with Sony Pictures and a recently-signed $3 billion (£2 billion) contract with NBC Universal.
But Hollywood bosses are standing by Kavanaugh. Sony spokesperson Jim Kennedy tells the New York Times, "We do not anticipate that this will have any impact on our current business."

Former FAWLTY TOWERS director BOB SPIERS has died aged 63 following a long illness.
The Glasgow-born star began his career as an assistant floor manager before becoming one of British television’s most revered sitcom directors.
Spiers directed episodes of a number of popular comedy series including Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous, French and Saunders, and Dad’s Army, and was also behind the camera for the Spice Girls’ movie Spice World in 1997.
Spiers died in Devon, England, surrounded by his family, but until recently had been living in Acapulco, Mexico. Further details about the cause of death were not available as WENN went to press.

The family who won a wrongful death lawsuit against O.J. SIMPSON will continue their pursuit of the $42 million (£28.3 million) award owed by the disgraced star as he serves jail time for his involvement in an armed robbery.
The former American footballer-turned-actor was sentenced to at least 15 years in prison on Friday (05Dec08) after a Las Vegas jury convicted him of orchestrating a sports memorabilia heist at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino last year (Sep07).
The conviction came 13 years to the day since Simpson, 61, was acquitted of the double murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
A lawyer for Goldman’s father, Fred Goldman, tells the New York Post the $33.5 million (£22.5 million) award his family won in subsequent wrongful death suit against the star has increased to $42 million (£28.3 million) with interest.
And Goldman is reportedly determined to pursue Simpson’s assets during his sentence to collect the sum.
Goldman’s collection lawyer, David Cook, says, "Even though Mr. Simpson has changed his address from Florida to Nevada, we’re still going on." Simpson will be eligible for parole after nine years, and could serve a maximum of 33 years.
He is reportedly planning to appeal his 10-charge conviction in the latest case.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE star TOM MORELLO is adamant the rockers will not release any more new material - because he wants to concentrate on his solo project.
Rumours of a new record have dogged the band ever since they reformed in April 2007 to play California’s Coachella festival.
The group has since played numerous shows, including a series of politically-themed gigs in the U.S.
But Morello insists that fans hoping for an album will be disappointed as he is too focused on his Nightwatchman solo work to record any more songs with Rage Against The Machine.
He tells NME.com, "There are no plans for that (recording new material).
We’ve had a wonderful year and a half of playing shows, and I don’t see any reason to not play more shows. The thing is, there’s only so many hours in the musical day, and mine are very occupied right now." Morello, who went on to form Audioslave after the band split in 2000, has subsequently released two records under the Nightwatchman alias, including this year’s (08) The Fabled City.
