LUKE THREATENED BY DIDDY OVER BIGGIE BIOPIC PORTRAYAL
Actor DEREK LUKE was under immense pressure to portray SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS correctly in new biopic NOTORIOUS - because the rap mogul threatened to harm him if he got it wrong.
Luke was thrilled to land the role of his hip-hop hero in the new film about the life of late rapper Notorious B.I.G. - but then he realised Diddy would be watching his every move.
The actor tells Giant magazine, "I got the blessing from Sean to play him.
(He was like) ‘You do you and I’m going to be over here. So if you mess up, I’m going to that set.’" Diddy was Notorious B.I.G.’s friend, confidante and record label boss at the height of the heavyweight rapper’s success.
