BEYONCE TURNED TO MUM AND GRANDMA-IN-LAW FOR WEDDING CATERING
BEYONCE KNOWLES kept her April (08) wedding ceremony top secret by refusing to hire caterers - she relied on mum TINA and husband-to-be JAY-Z’s grandmother to cook up treats for the guests.
The singer feared that the more outsiders that were a part of her big day, the more chance there was that details and photos would be leaked, so she called on family members to help her out.
Tina Knowles tells Giant magazine, "We cooked all the food. I cooked all my Creole stuff, and his grandmother cooked her oxtails.
"My favourite part was when we put all of this home cooking on that fancy china. It was special."
