STEVE-O ‘TAPPED FOR DANCE SHOW’
JACKASS star STEVE-O has been tapped as the next celebrity to join the cast of hit U.S. TV show DANCING WITH THE STARS, according to reports.
The stuntman - real name Stephen Glover - has verbally agreed to appear on the ballroom dance show’s next season, reports website TMZ.com.
Glover was transferred from a rehabilitation centre into a psychiatric hospital last July (08) in a bid to kick his drug addiction.
In an entry posted on his official website at the time, he said, "I’m back in the loony bin trying to get my s**t right. I’ve now been clean for 115 days and I’m back in a mental institution." Former Dancing With The Stars cast members include Priscilla Presley, singers Lance Bass and Melanie Brown, and actor George Hamilton.
A spokesperson for the show had not issued a comment as WENN went to press.
