KNIGHT RIDER ENDS SEASON EARLY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:33 pm

TV bosses have sparked reports hit 1980s show KNIGHT RIDER is on the verge of cancellation - after ending the series mid-season.
The show, which originally starred David Hasselhoff, did not feature the actor in its new version - despite his claims he came up with the idea of the show’s TV comeback.
In a mid-season announcement, the cast and crew of the NBC show were informed the season finale will air on 25 February 2009.
The announcement comes on the heels of an attempt by TV bosses to keep costs down by axing actors Sydney Tamila Poitier and Bruce Davison.
The series was picked up for a full season in October (08).
Hasselhoff is replaced by actor Justin Bruening in the remake.
