KID ROCK has stepped up his battle with a U.S. judge, who banned him from choosing how he serves his community sentence - by posting his contact details online.
The star lashed out at Georgia Judge Alvin T. Wong on Tuesday (02Dec08) after the official turned down a request to allow Rock to complete his 80-hour sentence by performing for U.S. troops in the Middle East.
Judge Wong argued that Rock should be punished for fighting in a Waffle House restaurant last October (07), not allowed to serve his time doing something he enjoys.
The star has called the ruling "a slap in the face" and is now encouraging his fans to protest on his behalf, by posting Judge Wong’s contact phone number and email address on his official website.
According to TMZ.com Judge Wong has received more than two dozen calls since his details were posted.

GWYNETH PALTROW secretly battled pneumonia after a summer (08) break, because she tired herself out tending to guests at her vacation home in New York.
The actress, husband Chris Martin and their children Apple and Moses decamped to Amagansett in the trendy Hamptons for the season, where they planned to relax and entertain family and friends, including pop star Madonna.
But Paltrow found herself working more than ever, and the effort left her sick.
She says, "It’s like running an inn, in a way. We have a lot of guests, which is fantastic, but sometimes I feel so tired. At the end of the summer I got pneumonia. I think I just overextended myself."

Actress HEATHER LOCKLEAR is back to full health and happiness, after a tough 2008 dominated by DUI charges and a spell in rehab.
In September (08), the former Melrose Place star was caught driving under the influence of prescription drugs - just weeks after she was treated in a clinic for depression and anxiety.
But the 47-year-old actress has battled back, and marked her recovery with a special Thanksgiving (Nov08) break spent with ex-husband Richie Sambora and current beau Jack Wagner.
In her first TV appearance since her troubles - on Wednesday night’s (03Dec08) The Tonight Show in America - she told fans she’s fine after a "rough" year.
Locklear told host Jay Leno, "I’ve been better, but I’m good today. I’m over that hump, and here I am." When asked by Leno what she would have done differently in 2008, she joked, "I would have stayed in my house!" But added, "You know what, I wouldn’t have done anything differently because, here I am today, happy and healthy - and lessons are to learn."

GWYNETH PALTROW is scared to have more children with rocker husband CHRIS MARTIN, because pregnancy makes her violently ill.
The actress is keen to expand the couple’s brood, but battled severe side effects while expecting Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses.
She says, "In theory I’d love to (have more). But it’s really hard for me when I’m pregnant - I’m sick as a dog for months. Sometimes I think, ‘Oh my God, I want another one right now, I’ll sustain any amount of vomiting or whatever. And then sometimes I think, ‘Gosh, everyone’s sleeping through the night now,’ If it’s meant to happen, it’ll happen."

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT’s foundation has donated another $100,000 (GBP67,000) to a kids’ charity.
It’s the second grant Global Action for Children has received from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, after the organisation was gifted $1 million (GBP670,000) in 2006.
GAC boss Jennifer Delaney explains the money will be spent on giving orphans a better Christmas: "With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world. Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child.
"GAC is honoured to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, and we greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt Family’s continued commitment to and support of our work."

The actress was taken aback when Caryn James asked, "How did her career go haywire so fast?" in a damning piece about Aniston in 2006 - and two years later, the star’s still upset.

Newlywed SPENCER PRATT has scrapped plans to spend the holidays with his new mother-in-law after derogatory comments she made about him went public this week (beg01Dec08).
The reality TV star, who eloped to Mexico with longtime partner and The Hills co-star Heidi Montag in November (Nov08), has been left hurt and angry by comments Darlene Egelhoff has made about the last-minute nuptials.
Speaking to America’s Us Weekly magazine, Pratt’s new mother-in-law accused the star of drugging her daughter, stating the marriage is "the biggest mistake Heidi ever made".
She also insists the marriage won’t last six months.
An incensed Pratt phoned in to Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest’s show on Thursday morning (04Dec08), to fire back at his new bride’s mum.
He said, "I can’t wait to prove her wrong and be married for the rest of our lives… I’m sure she’s just hurt and reacting crazy because she wasn’t there.
"I think she thinks she’s being funny and, like, playing into her character (on The Hills) - that she hates me." Pratt admitted he confronted Egelhoff on Wednesday (03Dec08), while they were filming an episode of The Hills: "(It) was pretty much the most insane day of my entire life." After reading the article in Us Weekly, Pratt has now vetoed plans to spend Christmas with his new mother-in-law, insisting he and his wife will probably spend the holidays alone.

Late movie legend MARLON BRANDO battled eating disorder bulimia for most of his adult life, according to a new book about the GODFATHER star.
Brando’s longtime personal assistant Alice Marchak has opened up about her extraordinary life with the Oscar winner in Me and Marlon.
She reveals how, despite his physical stature, the star regularly gorged on food only to vomit it back up in secret.
Marchak writes "We’d eat dinner and then Marlon would go to the bathroom and come back and order another meal." She claims she discovered his bulimia when she found him passed out in a bathroom after having haemorrhaged.
Marchall’s book also alleges Brando battled drug and sex addictions; once had to talk his son Christian out of committing suicide, and almost turned down the role of Don Corleone in The Godfather, because he didn’t want to glorify the Mafia.
The actor died in 2004 at the age of 80.

An award-winning British DJ has been suspended from his popular radio show for playing rapper BUSTA RHYMES’ controversial new track ARAB MONEY.
Steve Sutherland has been ousted as one of network Galaxy’s top presenters after spinning Rhymes’ Quran-sampling track on the radio.

GUNS N’ ROSES’ comeback has been given a boost - the band’s new album CHINESE DEMOCRACY has topped the European charts.
Paul Sexton of Billboard.biz reports that GUNS N’ ROSES’ new album, "Chinese Democracy" has topped the new European Top 100. Despite missing out on the number one spot in several territories, consistent number two and three debuts were enough to give Axl Rose’s rockers a continental chart topper.
The album has hit number one in Switzerland and Finland.

BEYONCE has wrapped up a near-perfect year by claiming the first U.S. number one single of the holiday season.
Her Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) is her fifth solo number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
The track rose from two to one to end rapper T.I.’s stranglehold on the top of the pop charts. T.I. drops to two with Live Your Life, while another Beyonce tune, If I Were A Boy, stays put at three.

KATY PERRY missed out on hearing all about her Grammy Award nomination because she misplaced her cellphone.
The I Kissed A Girl singer claimed a Best Female Pop Vocal Performance nod for the hit song on Wednesday night (03Dec08), but didn’t learn about it until hours later.

American TV presenter/producer DON CORNELIUS appeared in court in Los Angeles on Thursday (04Dec08) to plead not guilty to a string of charges relating to a fight with his wife VIKTORIA in October (08).
The 72-year-old former Soul Train host/creator is facing three counts of spousal battery, one of dissuading a witness from filing a police report and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
Cornelius is due back in court on 9 January (08), when he’ll face a five-year prison sentence if convicted.
In the meantime, he is banned from going anywhere near Viktoria, who has filed two restraining orders against him.

Teen singing sensations THE JONAS BROTHERS are heading for a split because bandmember KEVIN JONAS wants to go solo, according to U.S. reports.
The band - sibling trio Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas - have quickly become international chart stars with a huge, loyal fanbase.
But sources claim eldest brother Kevin, 21, is unhappy with the group’s young sound, and is secretly working on a solo album.

JENNIFER ANISTON was astonished when her "uncool" comments about former love rival ANGELINA JOLIE kicked U.S. President-elect BARACK OBAMA off the front pages of America’s newspapers.

You have to laugh at it all at the end of the day." Now, a month after the controversy, Aniston insists her comments were taken out of context.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG is desperate to land a movie role alongside TOM CRUISE because she’s convinced he’ll help her pick up her second Oscar.
Goldberg is mystified Cruise has never received the highest acting accolade himself, because he has helped numerous co-stars lift statuettes.
She cites Cuba Gooding Jr’s Best Supporting Actor award for his role alongside Cruise in Jerry Maguire; and Dustin Hoffman’s Best Actor prize for Rain Man, in which he played the star’s autistic brother.
