WAY’S UMBRELLA ACADEMY HEADING TO THE BIG SCREEN?
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE star GERARD WAY’s graphic novel THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY is set to be turned into a major movie.
Movie executives at Universal have reportedly jumped on the project and hope to greenlight filming in 2009, according to Internet reports.
Way and Dark Horse comic firm owner Mike Richardson have reportedly already signed off on the deal.
Alfonso Cuaron is reportedly onboard to direct the project.
