British singer AMY WINEHOUSE has ditched her favoured junk food to start eating healthily - but finds herself constantly craving sugary snacks.
The Back To Black hitmaker has regularly been snapped indulging in sweet treats and takeaways in the street.
But the troubled star vowed to make a fresh start for 2009 - and that means giving up her unhealthy habits.
She says, "I love junk food, I always have. But it ends up making me feel sick. So I’m trying to eat boring s**t like fruit and veg instead of crisps, curries and fried chicken.
"Just talking about it makes me want it."

Troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE has been summoned to appear at a Norwegian court on drug charges after she was caught in possession of marijuana in the country.
The Rehab hitmaker was arrested alongside husband Blake Fielder-Civil and her hairdresser in Norway’s city of Bergen in October 2007 after she was found with seven grammes of the illegal drug in her hotel room.
The trio was released by authorities after paying a fine of $430 (£294), although Winehouse later contested the fine.
The trial was scheduled for the beginning of 2008, but prosecutors were forced to postpone the hearing due to the imprisonment of Fielder-Civil, who was jailed in 2007 in relation to an attack on a pub landlord.
He was released in November (08) after agreeing to attend a rehab centre, but was ordered back to jail after failing a mandatory drugs test as part of his rehabilitation course. He could remain behind bars until 2010.
Now, a trial date in Norway has been set for 12 January (09) and the singer is expected to attend, according to prosecutor Rudolf Christoffersen.
He says, "I was informed by British police on December 23 that she has been legally summoned, and we expect that she will be there when the trial opens on January 12." According to Christoffersen, Fielder-Civil has already received a summons from Norwegian authorities. British police are reportedly seeking the whereabouts of the star’s hairdresser, who will also be summoned to appear in front of lawmakers.
The 2007 arrest hampered the star’s career throughout 2008 - she struggled to obtain a visa to travel to America for the Grammy Awards in February, and was forced to accept her five gongs via satellite link from London.

She says, "The three everyday tips I like for staying green are, one: conserving water around the house
. Don’t leave water running for no reason especially like when you’re brushing your teeth or taking a shower or whatever.
Just not to waste water.
"Second one is when you go to the store these days, most stores have bags you can get that are reusable and bring them back as long as you remember them which seems to be my only issue
. I think that’s an amazing thing to do
. It saves us paper and plastic and it’s much, much, much better for the environment.
"The third thing I think everyone should try and do a little more is bike and walk places because not only is it good for you and you get out there but it’s really good for the environment, especially places like L.A

KATE HUDSON has no plans to marry again, but she’s keen to pass on wedding day tips to brides to be.
The divorced actress, who plays a modern bride planning the perfect big day in new movie Bride Wars, insists fiancees and fiances only need to consider two main items when sorting out their weddings - that they both really want to marry and where the bar is going to be.
The former wife of rocker Chris Robinson explains, "Number one: Make sure you’re ready to get married, that you’re really sure you want to do this.
"And number two, I would say really good placement of the bar! At a wedding you want to have a good time." JIM CARREY’s new comedy YES MAN is sitting atop the U.K. box office after taking $3.4 million (£2.3 million) in its opening weekend (27-28Dec08).
The film, based on British author Danny Wallace’s novel, follows Carrey’s character as he challenges himself to say "yes" to everything for an entire year.
Adam Sandler’s family fantasy-comedy Bedtime Stories made its debut at number two, taking $2.2 million (£1.5 million), while Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman’s epic Australia took third place.

KATIE HOLMES was forced to sprint through the streets of New York on Tuesday (30Dec08) - after heavy traffic threatened to make her late for her performance on Broadway.
The actress has been living in the Big Apple with husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri since the start of her run in Arthur Miller play All My Sons in October (08).
The family left their apartment together early on Tuesday evening, but after spotting the build-up of traffic on the roads, Holmes decided to go it alone to the theatre to ensure she made it on time.

Troubled British rocker PETE DOHERTY has given up drugs - and has vowed to stay clean into the new year (09).
The Babyshambles frontman has had a well publicised battle with substance abuse and has been fighting addictions to heroin and crack cocaine since 2003.
He was jailed at London’s Wormwood Scrubs prison in May (08), serving 29 days of his 14-week sentence for probation violation relating to his previous drug and driving offences.
But the star has now vowed to turn his life around and ditch his addictions for good - although he is wary of giving up his other vices.
He says, "I’m sick of going around in circles. I’m clean now and I’m going to stay that way this year - apart from the fags and the booze."

I’ve done that.

American avant-garde artist/performer WILLOUGHBY SHARP has lost his battle with throat cancer, aged 72.
Sharp, noted as a cutting-edge performer, producer, writer, publisher and artist, died on 17 December (08) in Manhattan.
Among his most well-known accomplishments was his post as publisher of widely-respected art magazine Avalanche, which ran from 1970 to 1976 and featured interviews from rising artists of the time.
He also ran the Willoughby Sharp Gallery in Manhattan’s SoHo district from 1988 to 2004.
Sharp’s video works can be seen in collections of major museums across the globe, including New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Seymour Smith Sharp, a daughter from his first marriage, Saskia Sharp, and two grandchildren.

TWILIGHT heartthrob ROBERT PATTINSON isn’t looking forward to reprising his blood-sucking role in the hit film’s sequel NEW MOON - because he has to wear uncomfortable contact lenses for the part.
The British star played vampire Edward Cullen in the box office adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s cult book, and has signed a multi-million dollar deal to play the character again in the franchise’s second outing in 2010.
But he is dreading preparing to shoot the new venture - because wearing his character’s topaz coloured contacts is such a painful ordeal.
He tells Britain’s OK! magazine, "Wearing coloured contact lenses… It was like I constantly had sand in my eyes. I was wearing them for three months constantly and my eyes never ever accepted them! It took me 20 minutes per eye every single day and I ended up having to literally fold it into my eyeball." And the star believes the dreaded lenses may inhibit his acting skills because he couldn’t properly portray his character’s emotions due to the "two orange blobs" in his eyes.
He adds, "It was frustrating as well because normally your eyes are saying something, but if you’ve got two orange blobs in your face it’s so annoying! "The director (Catherine Hardwicke) would say, ‘Look at her (Kristen Stewart) like you love her,’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m trying!’ I’m going to have to do it again because we’re making the sequel next year."

French fashion guru TED LAPIDUS has died at a hospital in Cannes.
The style king was 79 when he passed away on Monday (29Dec08).
Paying tribute to Lapidus, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has said the designer "democratised French elegance and classicism" and "made fashion accessible to men and women in the street." Lapidus, the son of a Paris tailor, was a member of the prestigious Paris fashion club La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.

Former U.S. vice-presidential hopeful SARAH PALIN’s teenage daughter BRISTOL has signed a deal with an American magazine to publish snaps of her newborn son for $300,000 (£209,790) following a fierce bidding war, according to reports.
Bristol Palin, 18, delivered Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston in Palmer, Alaska on Saturday (27Dec08), People magazine reported.
And the weekly publication has reportedly snatched up the first baby photos of the tot and his mum after battling it out with rival tabloids. The bidding allegedly began at $100,000 (£69,930).
Alaskan governor Sarah Palin, a mother-of-five, caused a stir when she disclosed the pregnancy three days after she was nominated as John McCain’s running-mate in the race for the White House in September (08).
The pair lost out to Democrat Barack Obama and Joe Biden in the historic election.
The baby’s father is apprentice electrician Levi Johnston, who has been dating Miss Palin for three years.

Movie action man JACKIE CHAN has been named the vice-chairman of a new film association which will tie together moviemaking in Hong Kong and China.
Chan and other prominent Hong Kong filmmakers have joined the China Film Association.
Chan was voted the organisation’s vice-chairman over the weekend (27-28Dec08).

Actress MIA FARROW mourned the loss of her adopted daughter at a New York funeral service on Tuesday (30Dec08) - as a priest described her courage through the mystery 10-year ailment she suffered before her death, aged 35.
Farrow, 63, was joined by friends and family at the St
. Saviour Catholic Church service in Brooklyn for her daughter, Lark Previn - adopted by the actress and musician Andre Previn.
Vietnamese-born Previn died on Christmas Day (25Dec08) - a cause of death has not been released, although Previn had been ailing for more than a decade.
Mourners listened as Reverend Timothy Tighe Farrow described Previn’s battle: "She had dark moments in her life but she put one foot in front of the other and kept going.
"She pushed herself deeply so that she might keep going (for her daughters)." Previn is survived by her live-in boyfriend Robert Garcia as well as her two daughters, Sara, 13, and 12-year-old Christine
