U.S. BOX OFFICE CELEBRATES FOUR CHRISTMASES

Christmas has come early at the U.S. box office - romantic comedy FOUR CHRISTMASES has toppled vampire love story TWILIGHT to claim the Thanksgiving weekend top spot.
The film, starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, carved up a staggering $46.7 million (£31.1 million) in five-day ticket sales, and an estimated $31.7 million (£21.1 million) over the weekend (28-30Nov08) to score an impressive debut.
Family film Bolt climbed a spot to two, while former box office number ones Twilight and Quantum of Solace slip to three and four respectively.
Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman’s new epic, Australia, debuts at five with an estimated $14.8 million (£9.8 million), while Jason Statham’s Transporter 3 sequel enters the box office chart at seven and Harvey Milk biopic Milk debuts at 10.
