SPEARS: ‘I WANT MY OLD LIFE BACK’
BRITNEY SPEARS is anxious to prove to her father she is well enough to take care of herself - after growing fed up of having a chaperone with her at all times while on the road to recovery.
The pop star’s every move is being monitored by her father Jamie, on the orders of a court, following two hospitalisations earlier this year (08) and a series of public meltdowns.
And while Spears has seemingly managed to put her life back on track since her father was awarded conservatorship of her affairs, she insists she craves the personal freedom she once enjoyed.
Speaking in her new tell-all MTV documentary, Britney: For The Record, the star says, "I want my life back. I want to be able to drive my car. I want to be able to live in my house by myself. I want to say who’s going to be my security guard."
