AGUILERA HOPES FOR THANKSGIVING COOKING LESSONS
CHRISTINA AGUILERA plans to pick up some cooking tips from her mother this Thanksgiving, so she can treat her baby son to the same huge feasts she enjoyed as a child.
The singer will head home to her mum on Thursday (27Nov08), with husband Jordan Bratman and 10-month-old son Max in tow.
And she can’t wait to celebrate her first festive season with her own family: "Holidays are huge to me, so I am really looking forward to spending the holidays with my family and being able to appreciate the fact that it is my son’s first Thanksgiving and Christmas." And she plans to stick to her mum Shelly like glue in the kitchen and pick up as much advice as she can.
She adds, "Cooking is my next goal in life to achieve
. My mom loves to cook really southern, good, buttery, salty, delicious, bad-for-your-arteries kind of food, but it is amazing, and I hope to be a cook like that someday because one thing that I look forward to whenever I do go home is tasting my mom’s home cooking
. I want to do the same for Max."
