QUANTUM OF SOLACE DEFENDS U.K. BOX OFFICE TITLE
JAMES BOND movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE has fought off competition to remain atop the U.K. box office charts - with takings of $4.32 million (£2.88 million) in its fourth week on release.
The Daniel Craig-starring spy thriller comfortably held on to the number one spot - nearest rival Body of Lies opens in second with just $1.48 million (£991,979).
Kate Hudson’s new comedy My Best Friend’s Girl entered at three with $1.36 million (£911,355), and High School Musical 3: Senior Year takes fourth place with $908,556 (£605,704).
Seth Rogen’s sex antics in Zack and Miri Make a Porno rounds out the top five with $671,227 (£447,485).
