Geldof, daughter of music legend Sir Bob Geldof, isn’t a fan of Beckham’s much adulated sense of style - because the singer-turned-designer simply follows fashion trends.
And the 19-year-old doesn’t understand why people think she is fashionable, because she takes styling tips from outlandish rocker Courtney Love.
She tells Nylon magazine, "Most people who know me know I don’t follow fashion. I mean, I just dyed the tips of my hair blue for God’s sake.
"I hate stars who look totally overstyled, like Victoria Beckham; give me Courtney Love, with her babydoll nighties and ripped fishnet tights, any day.
For me, fashion is about pushing boundaries.

MADONNA and GUY RITCHIE’s divorce has been finalised following a hearing in London on Friday (21Nov08).
The British filmmaker and the Material Girl, who announced their separation last month (Oct08), were granted a decree nisi by a judge at the clinical Principal Registry of the Family Division of the High Court in High Holborn, London.
The hearing only lasted a few minutes and neither Madonna nor Ritchie were in attendance.
Although details of the settlement have not been made public, the couple will reportedly share joint custody of their sons, Rocco, eight, and David, three, who they adopted from Malawi in 2006.
The boys will split their time between Madonna in the U.S. and Ritchie in the U.K.
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, 12, will live with her mother - because she is the singer’s daughter from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.
Filmmaker Ritchie was said to have celebrated the news on Thursday (21Nov08) by raising a glass on the set of his new movie Sherlock Holmes, according to U.K. newspaper the Daily Mirror.
He told the publication: "It (the divorce proceedings) dragged on much too long and that had nothing to do with me. But it was never, ever about money." Madonna and Ritchie wed at Skibo Castle in the Highlands of Scotland in 2000.
The marriage will be officially dissolved in six weeks time when they will be granted a decree absolute.

MADONNA and GUY RITCHIE lived separate lives for at least six months before their divorce - proving the couple were living a lie long before they announced their break-up.
The British filmmaker and the Material Girl announced their separation last month (Oct08) and were finally granted a decree nisi by a judge in London on Friday (21Nov08).
The pair was rumoured to have split as early as this summer (08), but kept the news of the break-up secret - repeatedly denying rumours of a rift and putting on a united front at public events.
But now court documents show that Madonna petitioned for divorce at least six months ago and the couple have been living apart ever since, with the singer citing Ritchie’s "unreasonable behaviour" as the reason behind the split.
Although the date of the petition was not released, it was clear that the relationship was effectively over long before the couple’s last public appearance together, at the premiere of Ritchie’s RocknRolla movie in London on 1 September (08).
Details of the divorce settlement have not been made public, but the couple will reportedly share joint custody of their sons, Rocco, eight, and David, three, who they adopted from Malawi in 2006.

Singer BEYONCE KNOWLES is learning how to cook - in order to serve up a Thanksgiving feast for husband JAY-Z.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker is normally treated to a meal by her mother, Tina, to celebrate the November holiday.
But Knowles now feels the time is right for her to have a go at cooking a Thanksgiving meal for all the family.
She says, "For Thanksgiving my mother usually cooks. It’s just like anyone else’s Thanksgiving. It’s actually my favourite holiday because it’s not about anything but giving back, giving thanks for all our blessings.
"Hopefully I’ll try to make some type of pie. I’m not the best cook, but I think I’m ready to try something."

Teenage actress DAKOTA FANNING has made "lifelong friends" during her time at school - but often wonders whether they only like her because of her fame.
The 14-year-old shot to stardom in 2001’s I Am Sam and has since starred alongside Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts.
She continued to attend to school around filming schedules - but it has left Fanning fearing the possibility people only made friends with her because of her film career.
She tells Britain’s Daily Telegraph, "I wonder whether they like me just because they like a movie I’m in or whether they like me.
"But I don’t think you can be too cautious with people. You have to kind of let them in and not assume anything about them before you actually get to know them.
"I’ve made some great friends and they’ve all been very genuine and I think I’ll have them forever."

AL PACINO originally wanted GLENN CLOSE to be his co-star in SCARFACE - but producers didn’t think she was sexy enough.
The actor played a gangster in the 1983 film, and thought Close was perfect to play his sexy sidekick Elvira Hancock.
But producer Martin Bregman didn’t see Close, then aged 36, as the right woman for the role - and the part went to Michelle Pfeiffer, according to Ken Tucker, author of Scarface Nation.
Tucker tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, "I said to Al, ‘Elvira has to be half a hooker. Glenn Close is many things, but she is not half a hooker.’ "

Hollywood actor DUSTIN HOFFMAN nearly lost his life in 1970 - when an anti-war group accidentally detonated dynamite in their secret factory next door to his home.
The Graduate star was living in an apartment just one door down from the radical organisation Weather Underground’s makeshift bomb factory in New York City’s Greenwich Village in March of 1970.
And he still thanks his lucky stars he stepped out of his house for a few hours when the group inadvertently set off explosives.
But just one year after the harrowing incident, Hoffman learned he had another tie to the Weather Underground - his then-girlfriend was a member of the violent activist group.
He tells the New York Daily News, "She never told me. I found out about a year later. I wasn’t mad (because) she wasn’t involved in (the Village blast)." The explosion destroyed the three-storey house and claimed the lives of three people.

TWILIGHT actress KRISTEN STEWART has unearthed the secret of co-star ROBERT PATTINSON’s overwhelming popularity with female fans - he’s a "tortured artist".

Shooting on U.S. sitcom 30 ROCK was abruptly halted on Wednesday (19Nov08) after a taxi collided into the show’s set - nearly killing a nine-year-old child.
Series creator/actress Tina Fey was present when the reckless vehicle drove onto the Long Island set, forcing the young boy to dive out of the way, according to reports.
An extra tells New York gossip column Page Six, "The street was very narrow and there was nowhere for anyone to run, so we all just stood and watched in disbelief as it hurtled down the street and smashed into another car." A spokesperson for NBC Universal confirms: "Some actors were grazed by one of the cars involved. They were examined at a local hospital and released."

Rap mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS is a self-confessed party pooper - because he refuses to celebrate anything.
The Def Jam Records co-founder recently upset friends when he left a Barack Obama election night party just as guests were preparing to celebrate the U.S.
President-elect’s win - but Simmons admits he’s too busy to whoop it up.
He tells Details magazine, "I am not a good celebrator… When Obama won I said, ‘That’s nice’.
"It was fun to watch the results. I kind of expected it, so maybe that’s the reason. I don’t celebrate.

Irish pop group BOYZONE have been criticised for featuring a gay couple in their new music video.
The promo for the band’s single Better features singer Stephen Gately, who is homosexual, getting up close with a male actor.
And according to Northern Ireland newspaper, the Dromore Leader, an Irish minister has now slammed the clip - claiming it sends a "deadly message to young people." Reverend David McCullough, minister of Dromore Reformed Presbyterian Church in Northern Ireland, tells the publication, "This video, that will be watched by millions, is sending out a deadly message to young people.
"It is stating that homosexuality is simply another norm. The video very cleverly interweaves softly lighted, black and white images of heterosexual couples with a homosexual couple.
"The message is plain and the often repeated drum beating of the homosexual lobby that says that homosexuality is a normal lifestyle."

Rapper REMY MA is aiming to be out of jail in time for Christmas (08) - after filing an appeal against her eight-year prison sentence for a 2007 shooting.
The 26-year-old hip-hop star - real name Reminisce Smith - was sentenced in May (08) on charges of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion for shooting Makeda Barnes Joseph in the abdomen in July last year (07).
She maintained her innocence throughout the New York trial, claiming the shooting was an "accident".
Smith then hired top lawyers William Murphy, Jr., Kenneth Ravenell and Richard Levitto to launch an appeal and proceeded to announce she was "confident" that she would be vindicated of the charges.
Now, in new documents filed on behalf of the star, her lawyers claim the trial was riddled with mistakes by the judge.
They pinpoint four key indications of the judge’s alleged faults, including the claim Smith was "unfairly prejudiced" by the inclusion of details relating to an August 2007 attack on a male alleged to be Barnes Joseph’s boyfriend, which Smith is said to have instigated.
Her attorneys have also accused the judge of "wrongly instructing the jury" over Barnes Joseph’s testimony, after the jurors were told that if they believed it to be "truthful and accurate", it would satisfy the proof "beyond a reasonable doubt".
Smith’s legal team want the sentence overturned and the star released before the seasonal holidays.
Smith is currently serving time at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York as she awaits the appeal.

ASHLEE SIMPSON-WENTZ and her rocker husband PETE WENTZ have become parents for the first time after welcoming a baby boy.
The pop star, 24, gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday (20Nov08) night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The baby weighed in at seven pounds, 11 ounces (3.23 kilograms).

ROD STEWART’s son SEAN’s bar brawl lawsuit has been settled out of court.
Alleged victim Daniel Refoua filed a suit after claiming his nose was broken when actor Sean, alongside a group of men, attacked him outside Hollywood’s LAX nightclub in 2006.
Stewart’s rock legend father was also dragged into the case, after Refoua filed papers citing the elder Stewart as a defendant - because one of his employees, a bodyguard, was present that night to accompany the singer’s 27-year-old son.
But the case was dismissed by a Los Angeles court on Tuesday (18Nov08) after the two battling parties settled following private mediation.
The case was set to go to trial in L.A. in January (09), but Stewart’s legals had been hoping the suit would be dismissed by judges.
However, Stewart has not bid farewell to all his legal woes - earlier this week (begs17Nov08) his personal trainer launched legal action against him, over accusations he failed to pay his $3,857 (£2,571) bill.

BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly set to thrill fans with a surprise set at the American Music Awards on Sunday (23Nov08).
The Toxic hitmaker is rumoured to be taking to the stage at the event at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre to mark her comeback to the music scene with forthcoming album Circus.
And host Jimmy Kimmel is adamant the event’s organisers are planning a spectacular secret performance, but that they won’t tell him what it is.
The funnyman tells E! Online, "They have these surprises that 75 people on the crew know about, but they won’t tell the host.
"Apparently, there is some big surprise. I sent… the producer an email yesterday and he was like, I can’t tell you." If Spears did play a set at the ceremony, she’s be in good company childhood rival Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis,Taylor Swift and Kanye West are all slated to perform.
But Kimmel is hoping Spears won’t make a surprise appearance at the show because he once upset the singer by locking a Kevin Federline impersonator in a box and dumping him in the sea for a skit at the 2006 American Music Awards just weeks after the former couple’s divorce plans were announced.
The ceremony will be broadcast live by ABC on Sunday.

Big-hearted movie star WILL SMITH took time out of promoting his forthcoming movie SEVEN POUNDS to visit sick kids at Miami Children’s Hospital.
The actor thrilled young fans on Thursday (20Nov08) when he made a surprise visit to the hospital’s wards to hand out gifts and sign autographs for ill children.
And after dishing out stuffed animals and DVDs, the star reportedly made a generous donation to help the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Foundations president, Lucy Morillo, says, "We were deeply moved by Will Smith’s donation and the true spirit of joy he brought to the many young patients being treated here.
"We are very appreciative of his heartfelt support and honoured to have such a celebrated figure as part of our Miami Children’s Hospital family."
