ROWLING’S GIFT TO ORPHANS
HARRY POTTER author J.K. ROWLING hopes to make $30 million (£20 million) for orphaned children with the profits from her new book.
The writer will hand the proceeds from the Potter spin-off novel The Tales Of Beedle The Bard to the Children’s High Level Group, which provides support for parentless kids in Eastern Europe.
She co-founded the charity after being shocked at the plight of children at a care home in Prague, Czech Republic.
