Rockers LED ZEPPELIN have confirmed they are to tour under a different name while they are without frontman ROBERT PLANT.
The Kashmir hitmakers announced last month (Oct08) that they plan to hit the road in 2009 without Plant, who has opted out of the reunion shows.
The remaining stars, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham’s son, Jason, are now auditioning singers to take over vocals.
But after weeks of speculation, the band has confirmed that they will not be using the Led Zeppelin name for the live dates - because it is not the same band without Plant.
A spokesman for the trio says, "Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin. Not without the involvement of Robert Plant."

HUGH JACKMAN was left stunned when a busty babe flashed her breasts at him in the middle of a Broadway show.

BRAD PAISLEY and KEITH URBAN are really planning to START A BAND, just like their new song suggests.
After wowing the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night (12Nov08) with their first live performance together, the two singer/songwriters now plan to hit the road together.
Paisley says, "We have talked about it. I think we would love it. Both of our managers are very good, and I think we’ll work this out.
"We’ll do some shows. I don’t know how much, but we’ll do some stuff together for sure." The duo opened the CMAs, which Paisley co-hosted with Carrie Underwood, with their new single Start a Band.
Paisley went on to win two awards - for Male Vocalist and Video of The Year (Waitin’ on a Woman).

Actress TAWNY KITAEN insists she’s still close to the ex-husband she once battered with a stiletto.
Police were called when The Bachelor Party star attacked baseball pitcher Chuck Finley after he threatened to divorce her if she didn’t seek help for her Vicodin habit.
The painkiller abuse, coupled with years of cocaine use, turned Kitaen into a temperamental wreck and she set about Finley with her shoe in the family car.
Now a member of the new season of VH1’s reality show Celebrity Rehab, Kitaen is merely grateful that she and Finley are still friends.
She says, "I got arrested for attacking a 6ft 8, 245 pound man. We continued on with the divorce… but he is my best friend, he is the love of my life."

Actor JAMIE FOXX was moved to tears when BARACK OBAMA was voted in as U.S.
President-elect - because he is convinced the Democrat has brought all African-Americans "responsibility".
Foxx is elated Obama will be the next American leader and pleads with fellow African-Americans to recognise the honour that has been bestowed upon them.
He tells Access Hollywood, “It was absolutely incredible. I’m standing around all dudes and we are breaking out in tears.
“I don’t know how people felt but I know how I felt, as far as being an African-American male. I speak now to every African-American male that I see.
Now we have a responsibility, a huge responsibility to make sure we do the right thing now and to cut out all the madness and silliness. Now we don’t have an excuse.

Actress MINNIE DRIVER is so besotted with her newborn son, she’s already thinking about tot number two.
The Good Will Hunting star, 38, gave birth to Henry Story Driver in Los Angeles in September (08) - but dreams of giving him a brother or sister.
She tells talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, “Yeah, absolutely. I’d have another one.” But Driver hopes that any future offspring won’t be as heavy as Henry, who weighed in at nine pounds and 12 ounces (4.4 kilograms).
She adds, “I’ve only just managed to look at the pictures of the birth. I only looked at a few pictures and they do make you kind of go, ‘Owwww! Ouch!’ But then I look at him. I want another one of them.” And one of the reasons is because the tot is so well behaved: “(He is) very easy. He sleeps and smiles as far as I can make out.”

Actor TERRENCE HOWARD is slowly getting his life back on track following the death of his mother.
The Iron Man star’s mum, Anita Williams, passed away in September (08) after a long battle with cancer.
Howard stepped away from the limelight to grieve for his beloved parent - but is now taking steps to deal with her passing.
He writes on his blog, "I know that I have been quiet but I had a lot going on. But I am slowly pulling it together." The actor made an appearance at a Miami, Florida store on Saturday (08Nov08), which he calls "the furthest that I have gone from home since my mom’s funeral last month." And he admits that he often compartmentalises life before and after the tragedy.
He adds, "It’s weird that in your mind you separate all things into places and people you knew before your mom passed and the people you meet and places you go after mom passed. I wonder when that stops."

BILLY RAY CYRUS has backtracked on reports BARACK OBAMA’s daughter are set to appear on daughter MILEY CYRUS’ show HANNAH MONTANA.
Earlier this week (beg10Nov08), the Disney star’s father revealed the President-elect’s children, Sasha and Malia, had been invited to appear on the hit series.
However, an Obama aide subsequently insisted the next U.S. President wasn’t considering the offer - and now Cyrus has admitted the youngsters may not appear on the programme after all.
He tells Usmagazine.com, "Oh, to tell you the truth now, this thing got a lot bigger, a lot quicker than I ever planned. It’s a double-edge sword for me because first of all, I have a great deal of respect for President-elect Obama.
I just mentioned about them being on the show, and it snowballed." And the singer-turned-actor is concerned the girls aren’t ready for the same kind of fame the television show brought his teenage daughter.
He adds, "As a daddy, I’ll say to him what I say to any daddy, you may not want your daughter to get into show business. But if the girls want to be on the show, and him and his wife think it’s a good idea, I always say, everything in life, what’s meant to be will happen.
"If not, it’s probably a good thing also because these girls are going to be in a unique spotlight, and they really do need to walk with certainty and care.
I can see many reasons why it would be fun for them to do the show, but I also see a couple other reasons…
"I’ll leave it up to faith. I think God has a plan for everything. I have no doubt if it’s meant to be. I’ll look up and see them some time before April."

S CLUB 7 singer JO O’MEARA has been admitted to hospital after she was hit on the head with a bottle during a reunion gig.
The singer collapsed to her knees and had to be helped off the stage following the incident at a nightclub show on Wednesday (12Nov08), which left her with a gaping two-inch head wound.
The Don’t Stop Movin’ hitmakers split in 2004, but lead singer O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole reunited as S Club 3 for a handful of appearances across Britain - and it was when they performed onstage in Bradford, England that the attack took place.
Immediately after the incident, McIntosh shouted to the crowd, “It takes just one idiot to ruin everybody’s night. If you are going to throw a glass, throw it at me… you had to spoil it.” O’Meara is now recovering at home in London - but is more concerned that fans didn’t get their money’s worth out of the evening: “We were all having a great time until the incident and would like to apologise to fans that our set was cut short.” A 20-year-old male is being questioned by the police.

Rapper BUMP J. has been arrested for allegedly stealing $100,000 (£67,500) from a Chicago bank in 2007.
The rapper, real name Terrance Boykin, was detained by federal officials in Carbondale, Illinois and taken into custody following a routine traffic stop earlier this week (beg10Nov08).
He is accused of robbing a Chase Bank branch at gunpoint in January 2007 with a male accomplice.
Boykin and the unnamed pal are alleged to have entered the financial institution and announced the robbery before taking more than $100,000 (£67,500).
No one was injured in the heist, which was captured on surveillance cameras.
Boykin is indicted on one count of bank robbery and of violation of federal firearms statues. He is being held without bond at the Carbondale Police Department, awaiting extradition to Chicago.
The other man who allegedly participated in the robbery remains at large.

Colombian singer JUANES has swept the board at the Latin Grammy Awards, taking home five trophies.
The rocker beat off stiff competition to take home Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Album and Best Short Form Music Video at the ceremony in Houston, Texas on Thursday (13Nov08).
It takes his grand total of Latin Grammys to 17, topping Alejandro Sanz’s record of 14.

MADONNA has taken a break from her world tour to ask fans to help her build a girls school in Malawi.
The pop superstar has filmed a brief video message about the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls and posted it on her website.
Introducing the new message, Madonna writes, "After witnessing the potential of Malawi’s girls firsthand, I made it my mission to give them an opportunity to become their personal best." In the video, shot in a hotel room, the singer says, "There are very few girls in Africa in general who are encouraged or allowed to go to secondary schools so, after spending a lot of time there, I realised that one of the ways I could help was to build a girls school.
"I would really be grateful if you would get involved and help me in any way you can with donations, spreading the word, visiting my website, reading about the progress we’ve made so far.
"Please visit our website. I would appreciate any help you could give us." Madonna has been a regular visitor to Malawi in recent years, and adopted son David from an orphanage in the country.

BEYONCE KNOWLES has finally confirmed she’s a married woman - seven months after she and rap mogul JAY-Z exchanged vows in a top secret New York ceremony.
Appearing on Oprah on Thursday (13Nov08), the sexy star admitted it was difficult not to talk about her nuptials - because it was such an exciting day.
She said, "It’s difficult because I had to really learn how to have boundaries… and balance. It’s something that I never have really talked about… It was difficult and it still is because I’m so excited about it, but it’s important that I keep things that are pure and real in perspective, and I keep it separate from my performance life.
"It (wedding) was very private… Outside it was paparazzi madness and inside it was really beautiful." And she loves being someone’s wife.
She added, "It feels great… The most important thing is to make sure you have your own life before you’re someone else’s wife."

Mexican actor DIEGO LUNA has directed a new documentary about his childhood hero, boxer JORGE C. CHAVEZ.
The Open Range star interviewed boxing heavyweights Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya and promoter Don King for the film J.C. Chavez.
Luna says, "Jorge Chavez was this Mexican boxer that was huge from ‘88 to ‘96, and a champion for 11 years. The film was a chance for me to talk about Mexico when I was a teenager.
"I remember living in a country that was always in a crisis ever since I was 10. So, for me, it was interesting to tell the story of the only Mexican, who didn’t know what losing was, when the country was falling apart."
