TWILIGHT VAMPIRES TAKE A BITE OUT OF THE U.S. ALBUM CHARTS
The soundtrack to hotly-anticipated movie TWILIGHT has ended AC/DC’s run at the top of the U.S. album charts.
The compilation of tracks by Muse and Linkin Park, among others, has debuted at number one after an opening sales week of 165,000 copies.
But the soundtrack only just beat out AC/DC’s Black Ice, which sold 160,000 copies.
Another soundtrack, High School Musical 3, stays put at three, while Hinder score their best chart opening ever at four with Take It To The Limit, and Pink’s Funhouse drops three spots to five. (KL/WNWCBB/IG) WENN - SIXTH - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 12 NOVEMBER 2008
