Singer GRACE JONES is to release a fly-on-the-wall film about her life since 2003.
The one time Bond girl’s world has been captured on camera by British filmmaker Sophie Fiennes for the past four to five years.
She says the documentary will feature footage of her at home, in concert and making the album Hurricane, which was released earlier this month (Nov08) and was her first record in almost 20 years.
Jones says, "Sophie Fiennes has been following me around for the last four or five years. It’s going to be at least nine months of editing, that’s how much material we’ve got.
"It’s a lot of performance, it’s me in Jamaica, we had a family reunion and it’s the making of the new record."

Shamed former boyband svengali LOU PEARLMAN has denied allegations he made inappropriate advances towards his teenage proteges in a new tell-all book exposing his past as a pop impresario.
The music mogul - the mastermind behind successful boybands Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync - is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence after being convicted of fraud earlier this year (08).
And in the new tome, entitled The Hit Charade, author Tyler Gray interviews Pearlman’s former charges, including ex-boyband member Tim Christofore, who was just 13-years-old when he was chosen to be part of defunct group Take 5.
He tells Gray, "(Lou) would let us watch porn… Most of his artists knew the deal they had with the devil. It involved them being sex symbols as well as artists. I don’t think it extended to actual sex. Just fodder for Lou’s fantasies, which satisfied an immature notion of romance that he had." Christofore also reveals how he once woke to find Pearlman standing at the foot of the bed wearing only a towel, which came off when he dived on the mattress to "wrestle" with the boys.
But Pearlman refuted the claims when interviewed by Gray for the book, saying, "Tim (Christofore) is making up this story. Besides, I’ve never owned a towel that could wrap all the way around me… I’ve never been into men. I’ve been in a great relationship with my girlfriend, Tammie Hilton, for nearly a decade." And the new allegations have not stopped Pearlman from putting together a new all-male group from behind bars.
According to Gray, the music mogul has been promoting a new boyband called Biteboy while in jail - as he hopes a pardon will be issued for his release.
The book is set to hit shelves on Tuesday (11Nov08).

EMINEM has reportedly suspended the release of his new album RELAPSE until as late as next spring (09).
The Stan hitmaker announced last month (15Oct08) that he was considering releasing his sixth LP before the end of the year (08).
The project will mark the first record the rapper has put out since his greatest hits compilation in 2005, when the 35-year-old laid down his mic to concentrate on producing.
Eminem has insisted he can’t wait to "get back out there" as he promotes his best-selling autobiography The Way I Am, which hit shelves in October (08).
But a source tells the New York Post the record could now be put back until next year (09), adding: "There was never a release date set." Another source says, "Eminem has been through a lot. He is being a perfectionist and is completely obsessive-compulsive about this album. There’s a 50-50 chance it will be done by the end of this year - but most likely it’ll be the first quarter of next year… It’s great." A spokesperson for the rapper has declined to comment.

LINDSAY LOHAN is thankful she went to rehab - because now she has a "clear" head.
The Mean Girls star entered a rehabilitation facility three times last year (07); in January "to take care" of her health, again in May after she was accused of driving under the influence (DUI), and finally in August to confront her drink and drug problems.
She finally left rehab in October 2007 and has since turned her life around.
Lohan tells Harper’s Bazaar magazine, "I’m a different person now. I’m happy." The actress admits feeling lonely before her stints in therapy: "I was going to clubs all the time and it was not okay. I was so alone." But Lohan has taken responsibility for her downward spiral and is ready to move forward.
She adds, "I did it to myself and I have to deal with the consequences. I’m thankful for what I can take out of it. Now I feel clear."

WILL SMITH’s young son JADEN has landed the lead role in an upcoming remake of THE KARATE KID, according to reports.
Jaden, 10, is Smith’s eldest son with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and previously acted alongside his father in 2006 movie The Pursuit of Happyness.
And now the youngster looks set to start forging his own acting career with a role in a new version of the hit 1984 film - playing the part made famous by Ralph Macchio, according to Variety.com.
Oscar-winner Hilary Swank took over the main role in The Next Karate Kid in 1994.
The new film, which will see Smith take on a co-producer role, will be relocated to Beijing, China, but will explore the same themes as the original three pictures, with a bullied youth learning to stand up for himself with the help of a wise martial arts expert mentor.

U.S. comedian DOM IRRERA has pleaded no contest to charges of driving under the influence (DUI).
The funnyman was driving through Los Angeles in September (08) when he was stopped by police and arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated.
Irrera has been sentenced to three years probation and will have to attend alcohol education classes and pay a $1700 (£1075) fine, according to TMZ.com.

Security staff at the Hot Topic store in San Francisco only expected around 500 people to attend Monday’s (10Nov08) event and were overwhelmed when thousands of fans turned up to get a glimpse of the actor.
And the scene on the street outside the shop soon turned ugly as the desperate movie fans surged forward, with many people getting caught in the crush - forcing organisers to scrap the signing and call police.

TIM ROBBINS is set to take legal action against New York officials after he was nearly denied a vote on election day (04Nov08) - accusing them of publishing his address while trying to "cover" their mistakes.
The star went to his local polling station in Manhattan on 4 November (08) only to find his name wasn’t on the list of voters.
Following a blazing row with officials, Robbins was finally able to cast his ballot after applying for a court order from a state Supreme Court judge.
But the Shawshank Redemption actor has been further infuriated by a letter from the New York Election Board after the incident, which accused him of simply going to the wrong polling station.
The correspondence, which included details of Robbins’ home address, has ended up in the hands of the U.S. media - and the actor is now looking to settle the matter through the courts.
He tells Access Hollywood, "This (letter) is a PR stunt by the Board of Elections to try and cover their butts over their ineptitude.
"This is further outrage that the Board of Elections has today sent my voter records with my address and personal information to hundreds of news sources when they could have cleared this up. It’s an invasion of privacy and further insult. I will be seeking legal advice and may take legal action."

Actress MICHELLE WILLIAMS’ father has agreed to return to his native U.S. to face tax evasion charges.
Stock market trader Larry Williams is currently living in Australia after a self-imposed exile following accusations of willfully attempting to evade $1.5 million (£750,000) in taxes from 1990 to 2001.
He was arrested in Sydney in May 2006 at the request of U.S. authorities, but was later freed on $857,000 (£428,500) bail.
And he has now agreed to return home to be quizzed over his financial affairs after American officials issued an extradition order.
But Williams insists he is innocent of the allegations and will beat the charges.
He says, "I will fight this and win. I will be back - I have a lot of friends here in Australia." Williams is due to fly to Los Angeles on Wednesday (12Nov08), according to Australia’s The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Pop star PINK has a new hobby - the singer loves growing vegetables in her garden.
The Trouble hitmaker has created a vegetable patch in her backyard and enjoys harvesting her own food.
She tells British magazine Q, "I have an organic vegetable garden with four raised beds. I grow cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, jalapeno peppers, spinach, kale and chillies. I also grow sunflowers, marigolds and herbs like basil and marjoram. I like to get out there in my wellies.
"It’s very punk rock to be out in a yard growing your own food."

Former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL has reportedly split from her toyboy lover IVAN ‘FLIPZ’ LEVEZ.

Fielder-Civil left Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk, England this month (04Nov08) after serving almost a year behind bars in relation to an attack on a pub landlord.

BRITNEY SPEARS has left a Mississippi hospital with her two-year-old son JAYDEN JAMES after an allergic reaction prompted the pop star to rush him to the emergency room on Sunday (09Nov08).
The Toxic hitmaker left the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center with the tot late on Monday night (10Nov08), according to celebrity website TMZ.com.
The toddler apparently collapsed at the star’s family home in Kentwood, Louisiana and a spokesperson for the star said on the singer’s website: "Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested." A source close to Spears tells People.com that Jayden suffered "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable." The star and her mother Lynne spent Sunday night at the hospital with him and he "is doing fine." Jayden James is the singer’s second son with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The couple also share three-year-old Sean Preston.
