LATEST: A New Zealand TV reporter who took pop star PINK to task for allegedly sacking her sister has sensationally quit her job as bosses investigate the incident.
TVNZ’s Hannah Hodson reportedly antagonised the So What hitmaker her during a TV interview in Sydney, Australia in October (08).
Hodson was allegedly angry with Pink for sacking the reporter’s sister, who worked as the star’s former assistant.
The interview became so tense, Pink stormed out of the scheduled chat as her manager attempted to confiscate the recording from the TVNZ crew.
According to reports, the interview was due to appear on New Zealand current affairs show Close Up but sources claim it was a "train wreck" that will never be aired.
Pink later labelled Hodson "insane", insisting she had tried to be polite throughout the promotional interview but claimed "it was really hard to stay".
And although Hodson’s employers denied there was an argument between the journalist and Pink, Hodson resigned from her job as the incident was pending investigation, according to Australian reports.
It wasn’t the first time Hodson had upset an interviewee - she stunned Nicole Kidman last year (07) by reading out a scathing review of her film The Golden Compass during a chat with the actress.
Taken aback, the Aussie star said, "That’s a charming thing," before adding sarcastically, "You’re a sweet woman."

Hollywood actor COLIN FARRELL is glad he failed an audition for Irish pop group BOYZONE - because he wouldn’t have "lasted too long" in the band.
Farrell tried out for the boyband in the 1990s while he was a struggling actor in Ireland, but he was rejected during the audition phases for his lack of vocal talent.
Boyzone went on to score a string of chart successes in the U.K., returning last year (07) for a reunion tour.
Farrell eventually landed a role in British drama series Ballykissangel in 1998 and went on to forge a high profile career in Hollywood.
And the star admits he is pleased he was never accepted into Boyzone because it would have sent his life off on a very different path.
He says, "I don’t think I would have lasted in the band too long. Life would have been very different, very different.
"I certainly wouldn’t have lasted a reunion I don’t think."

BRITNEY SPEARS’ two-year-old son JAYDEN JAMES has been admitted to hospital in Mississippi after the youngster reportedly suffered a suspected seizure.
Spears rushed the toddler to the emergency room at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre on Sunday (09Oct08) afternoon after he apparently collapsed at the star’s family home - 25 miles away in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Jayden James, the singer’s second son with ex-husband Kevin Federline, was said to have been kept in the hospital overnight for observation.
Federline is now reportedly planning to fly out from his home in Los Angeles to join his ex-wife at their son’s hospital bedside.
A source tells DailyMail.co.uk, "One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill. He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialled an ambulance.
"But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.
"Jayden James had to be kept in hospital overnight for observations. We don’t yet know what’s wrong with him.
‘Britney was insistent that (she) wouldn’t leave him. She asked for a bed to be made up in the same room so she could be there at his side." Spears’ one week-long visit to see her family is the first time she has been allowed to travel with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, three, since their father was given full custody of the children in July (08).

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT had to tone down their recent photoshoot for American magazine W - because the pictures were too racy.
Budding photographer Pitt was commissioned by the publication to take a series of candid shots of his family.
And Jolie insists that although she was pleased with the first set of images Pitt produced, the couple decided some of the photographs were just not suitable for the magazine.
She says, "We’d look at the pictures like art and say, ‘This is a really interesting photograph,’ but then we’d know better and think about how it was going to be received. So we made it a little more tame than it was."

Rocker CHRIS CORNELL has labelled LED ZEPPELIN’s decision to reunite without frontman ROBERT PLANT "depressing".
The Kashmir hitmakers announced last month (Oct08) that they plan to hit the road in 2009 without Plant, who has opted out of the reunion tour.
Former Audioslave and Soundgarden singer Cornell was subsequently forced to dismiss reports that he has been in talks with the legendary band to take over the role.
And Cornell is adamant that he would never have agreed to replace Plant because most fans don’t want to see the group with another frontman.
He says, "I would never do anything like that whether I were approached or not. It just doesn’t make any sense to me at all. I would not want to go see me performing Led Zeppelin songs with the two other guys that used to be in a band called Led Zeppelin while Robert Plant is out somewhere touring.
"That’s not a ticket I would buy. God bless ‘em, but that’s not Led Zeppelin.
I find it completely depressing. I’d never do anything like that. I mean just out of respect to the legacy of the band."

Fans of movie star and golf fanatic SAMUEL L. JACKSON will never see him playing golf on the big screen - because he’s convinced fairway films are flops.
The Pulp Fiction star is considered one of the world’s best celebrity golfers, but he vows he’ll never mix business with pleasure.
He says, "Golf is a sport that people participate in. People don’t like to watch it on screen unless it’s Caddyshack. That’s the only one. Who went to see (The Legend of) Bagger Vance? Will (Smith) and Matt Damon’s family? "(Kevin Costner movie) Tin Cup is a romantic comedy and a date movie. If you can make a date movie out of golf, maybe that would work. Actor LIEV SCHREIBER has named DANIEL CRAIG as the best JAMES BOND ever.
The actor stars alongside Craig in forthcoming World War Two drama Defiance and he is full of praise for his colleague, insisting his portrayal of 007 far outstrips that of other actors including Sir Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.
He says, "He is the best Bond ever in my opinion." And Schreiber admits he was pleasantly shocked to find out how warm and friendly Craig was on-set - because he expected him to be like his superspy character.
He adds, "I was surprised by how generous he was and how open he was and how kind he was to me. I didn’t expect that, I sort of expected the steely grin of 007."

Hollywood funnyman ROBIN WILLIAMS surprised fans in London by returning to the stage for a stand-up performance - three days before his scheduled comeback.
The Mrs Doubtfire star was due to return to the U.K. stage for the first time in 25 years in London theatre production We Are Most Amused on 12 November (08).
The show is part of the celebrations for British royal Prince Charles’ 60th birthday.
But the comedian chose to warm up by playing an intimate gig to an audience of just 100 people at a student bar in the capital on Saturday (09Nov08) night.
The London School of Economics (LSE)’s regular comedy night The Chuckle Club played host to the superstar for the evening - but organiser Paul Jay was forbidden from revealing the identity of his surprise guest before the event.
Jay says, "It was the thrill of my life to have Robin Williams. He was marvellous - very, very funny."

Former 007 star ROGER MOORE has boycotted showbiz gossip sites since discovering he came bottom of a poll to find the most popular JAMES BOND.
Moore played the superspy in seven movies from 1973 to 1985 and many fans consider him their favourite of all the actors who have portrayed the MI-6 secret agent.
But one website’s readers felt otherwise, and Moore was shocked by his discovery.

GUY RITCHIE’s father is "pleased" his son’s marriage to MADONNA is over because the moviemaker is much happier without the pop superstar.
The former couple is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings, after announcing plans to separate last month (Oct08).
And Ritchie’s father, John, is relieved that the Material Girl will soon be out of his son’s life.
He says, "He has been in a very good mood. I wasn’t upset that they parted. I am very pleased for Guy that it is all over." And John Ritchie is convinced that the Snatch director will not let the singer take their children back to her native America.

Hollywood actress LINDSAY LOHAN has told a U.S. magazine she is "bisexual".
The Mean Girls star has been romantically linked to British DJ Samantha Ronson since they were spotted kissing and cuddling at a party in Cannes, France earlier this year (08).
The 22-year-old has continually refused to confirm their relationship, and has also dodged questions about her sexuality.
But in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Lohan is asked whether she is bisexual and answers, "Maybe. Yeah." However, Lohan is adamant that she is not a lesbian, giving journalists an emphatic "No" when asked, according to New York gossip column PageSix.com.

Independent movie SUMMER has triumphed at the Scottish BAFTA Awards - scooping the prizes for best feature and best director.
The movie, which stars Robert Carlyle, is helmed by filmmaker Kenny Glenaan.
Scottish actor Brian Cox was honoured for his role in this year’s (08) The Escapist, picking up the award for best film acting performance, and Ken Stott received the gong for best television performance for his part in BBC drama Hancock and Joan.

Welsh actor IOAN GRUFFUDD is trying for a baby with his wife, actress ALICE EVANS.
The couple married in 2007 and the Fantastic Four star is now keen to start a family.

GIRLS ALOUD star NADINE COYLE has revealed the secret to the group sticking together - they all enjoy different ventures away from the band.
Rumours have abounded in recent years that the girlband - formed in 2002 through U.K. talent show Popstars: The Rivals - is on the verge of splitting.
But Coyle has vehemently denied the reports, insisting that the girls’ "second jobs" help keep the group together.
Cheryl Cole is part of the judging panel on Britain’s TV talent show The X Factor; Nicola Roberts has developed her own make-up line for pale skin, and Coyle has a string of properties and business ventures to her name.
She says, “I like to have loads of things going on at the same time. We can do whatever we want as well as being in Girls Aloud. We can always come back to the band.
“After every album and every tour people say it’s the last one. But we’ve been doing this for six years and now we’re doing another tour. I would say there will probably be another album.”

Rocker JACKSON BROWNE is set to become the latest celebrity vintner - he is contemplating turning his Hollister Ranch home in Santa Barbara, California into a vineyard.
The singer/songwriter feels sure he has the perfect soil and weather conditions to grow grapes on his remote estate - but he’s still not sure he wants to become a "gentleman farmer".
Browne says, "This area has always been a place where I’ve had a house, tended a garden… I’ve often thought that I should do it (become a vintner) while I can still enjoy it. But I may never do it.
"I’m a little worried that if I started to farm out here it wouldn’t be the hideaway that it is for me now.
"I want to be a gentleman farmer, but I don’t want to work very hard."

Female acts dominated this week’s U.K. charts with British pop group GIRLS ALOUD beating rockers RAZORLIGHT to the number one album slot.
The British girlband saw their new LP Out of Control seize the top position ahead of Razorlight’s latest offering, Slipway Fires, which entered the countdown at number four.
Pink’s Funhouse slipped from number one into second position ahead of Enrique Iglesias’ Greatest Hits compilation at number three.
The top five is rounded out by Snow Patrol’s A Hundred Million Suns.
In the British singles chart, X Factor Finalists clung onto number one with their charity single Hero, which kept Beyonce Knowles in second place with If I Were A Boy.

The 18-year-old singer now avoids stopping in lingerie stores, because she finds it too embarrassing when people watch her browsing the shelves.
