GELDOF’S DAUGHTER TO DIVORCE?
BOB GELDOF’s wildchild daughter PEACHES is to divorce her husband of less than 100 days, according to British reports.
The teenage socialite stunned the entertainment world when she wed New York musician Max Drummey in Las Vegas in August (08) - but now the union, and the romance, is finished.
Geldof has reportedly told pals: "It’s over. I just don’t fancy him any more" The 19-year-old will start talks with her lawyers this week (beg10Nov08), according to Britain’s News of The World.
A family friend tells the newspaper, "She realised it was all a mistake, and her dad Sir Bob is delighted." Insiders claim the newlyweds have been rowing for weeks - and Geldof wants to make a fresh start.
The source adds, "She woke up to realise the marriage was a huge mistake and that Max is not the man of her dreams. She doesn’t fancy him anymore, and wants to move on. To her it is just as simple as that. She just wants to divorce him and find a new boyfriend.
Drummey and Geldof wed after a month-long courtship.
