The critically-acclaimed weekend event, now in its third year, will take place on 25 and 26 April (08) at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Next year’s event will also include Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, the Charlie Daniels Band and former Hootie & The Blowfish star Darius Rucker.

Hollywood star MARK WAHLBERG and America’s next president BARACK OBAMA have a sibling connection - their right hand men are brothers.
On Thursday (06Nov08) Rahm Emanuel accepted the position of Chief of Staff in Obama’s administration and will assume his position when Obama is sworn into power on 20 January (0).
Emanuel’s brother, Ari, is Wahlberg’s agent - the man who inspired the character of Ari Gold in hit TV show Entourage.
Ari isn’t the only brother with small screen ties - Rahm worked in the White House under former President Bill Clinton, and is rumoured to have inspired Bradley Whitford’s character Josh Lyman in TV show The West Wing.

BRITNEY SPEARS has continued her triumphant comeback to the music scene - by taking home two of the biggest awards at this year’s (08) MTV Europeam Music Awards in Liverpool, England.
The Toxic singer was honoured as the Act of 2008 and she also landed the gong for this year’s (08) Best Album for Blackout.
Spears was unable to attend Thursday (06Oct08) night’s ceremony but thanked her fans via a video message, urging them to carry on the party without her.
The double win follows Spears’ return to form at September’s (08) MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, where she thrilled fans by taking home three awards.
The EMAs kicked off with a rousing performance from the event’s host, Katy Perry, who wowed the crowd with a rendition of her hit single I Kissed A Girl.
Pop punk Pink was subsequently announced as the night’s first winner, beating off competition from host Perry to win the Most Addictive Track accolade for So What
. She collected the prize from U.K
. girl group Sugababes.
The second award of the evening was presented to German rockers Tokio Hotel, who picked up the best live act Headliner Award from singer Anastacia.
Katy Perry didn’t have to wait long to win an award, taking home the Best New Act prize, telling the crowd, "The host can’t win - it’s like voting for yourself." The next winners were 30 Seconds From Mars, fronted by actor Jared Leto, who picked up the Rock Out award.
And the biggest surprise of the night came when forgotten 1980s pop star Rick Astley was named Best Act Ever, beating superstars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to bag the honour after an internet prank, known as rickrolling which featured his biggest hit Never Gonna Give You Up, increased his profile across the globe
. The reclusive singer failed to turn up to collect the gong.
Rapper Lil Wayne beat Beyonce Knowles and Kanye West to claim the accolade for Ultimate Urban Artist.
West took to the stage to perform alongside British rapper/singer Estelle, singing their hit American Boy to a backdrop of U.S
. flags and a large projected image of newly-elected U.S
. President Barack Obama.
Other performers included U.S

MICHAEL JACKSON’s 14-minute THRILLER video is on its way to Broadway - as an ambitious new stageshow.
Theatre impresario James Nederlander is producing a musical version of the promo, which wowed music fans when it first aired in 1983. The show is expected to hit the Nederlander Theatre in the next few years.
The zombie-themed video, directed by John Landis, cost $500,000 (GBP312,500) to make.

WILL SMITH is America’s favourite star, according to a far-reaching new TV and magazine survey.
The movie star beat Tom Hanks on the Entertainment Tonight/Parade magazine poll.
In naming him the top pick, Parade writes, "Will Smith seems to glide from success to success without much effort. He’s a big presence. When he walks into a room, you know he’s there." Reese Witherspoon was the top female in third place, with George Clooney and Meryl Streep rounding out the top five.
The Mexican co-stars Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts claim the sixth and seventh spots on the list, while Johnny Depp, Jennifer Aniston and Patrick Dempsey complete the top 10.

DREW BARRYMORE’s new British toyboy ED WESTWICK has signed on as the new face of footwear brand K-Swiss.
The 21-year-old Gossip Girl star will appear in a new TV and print campaign for the trendy sports shoe company which will launch in February (09), according to Eonline.com.

MADONNA’s Los Angeles concert on Thursday night (06Nov08) will go ahead after a stage collapsing scare.
The Dodger Stadium stage, where the Material Girl will reportedly perform with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, had support issues when crewmembers were putting it together on Wednesday (05Nov08).
Staff at the baseball park have assured TMZ.com that the stage will be fixed and safe in time for the concert.
The Los Angeles gig is the latest on the North American leg of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet world tour.

ROBERT DOWNEY JR. insists he wasn’t responsible for the decision to fire TERRENCE HOWARD from the IRON MAN sequel, revealing he was sad to see his pal dropped from the movie.
Howard was recently shocked to learn he wouldn’t be reprising his role as Iron Man/Tony Stark’s best pal Jim Rhodes in the 2010 sequel. He dismissed reports a salary row was to blame, insisting studio bosses had dropped him in favour of Don Cheadle, who will take on the part.
Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man/Stark is keen to stay out of the row - but insists he was not responsible for Howard’s firing.
He tells MTV news, "I had nothing to do with that decision. I love Terrence very very much. That’s all I’ll say because I haven’t talked to him yet.
"It’s one of those situations where I still don’t quite know what happened or why. Here’s what happens too: things happen and you wind up commenting on them before you’ve actually talked to the people and it’s in poor taste."

One good thing came out of actress CHRISTINA APPLEGATE’s breast cancer battle she treated herself to the beach house she has always dreamed of.
The Anchorman star underwent a double mastectomy in July (08) but had one thing to look forward to when the medical crisis was over - a new home at the beach.
She says, "I started looking for a beach house the day I found out I had this disease.
"You just kind of go, ‘What are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things that you dream of?’" Applegate spent three weeks recuperating, post-surgery, at her new beach abode and now spends the weekends at her dream home.

Hefner himself made the announcement to the press on Thursday (06Nov08), stating, "Kendra Wilkinson has met someone who she would like to spend the rest of her life with." The Philadelphia Eagles star reportedly asked the blonde bombshell to be his wife on Saturday (01Nov08).

OPRAH WINFREY is helping JENNIFER HUDSON mourn the loss of her mother, brother and young nephew by hiding the actress out at her luxury Chicago, Illinois apartment.
Hudson dashed back to her home city on 24 October (08) after learning her mum Darnell and brother Jason had been found shot dead at the family’s home on Chicago’s south side.
Her sister Julia’s son Julian, seven, was abducted from the scene and found dead in an abandoned SUV across town just three days later.

CHARLIZE THERON’s mother has filed for divorce from her second husband - just three years after they tied the knot.
Gerda Theron has cited "irreconcilable differences" in court documents to separate from her unnamed spouse.
According to reports, the actress whisked her mother away to a luxury resort in Mexico for a vacation filled with non-stop pampering to get over the recent split.
The break-up comes nearly two decades after the actress witnessed Gerda shoot her abusive father dead in an act of self-defence, when the Monster star was just 15 years old.
Police pressed no charges in the incident, which South African-born Theron has credited with bringing the two closer.
Theron has said of their relationship: "(We are) friends from way back because we were the only ones there for each other".

BEYONCE KNOWLES has discovered how to keep the peace with her manager/father MATTHEW KNOWLES - they’ve banned business-talk over the dinner table.
The 27-year-old singer has been advised by her dear dad since before her rise to fame with pop group Destiny’s Child - formed in 1990.
And she admits it’s taken time and patience on both ends to find balance in their relationship.
She says, "My father and I had a tougher time years ago. But there’s been a gradual transition, a power struggle. I’ve never had a problem standing up to my father when it’s come to my business. He taught me the importance of business…
"It’s difficult because I started out young. And when I was 21, I was still the baby to him. So we’d fight. But after a few years of that, it got better, and now we have rules. Like, when we’re having family functions like Christmas or birthdays, we’re not allowed to talk about business."

Superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES has opened up about the controversial split of the original members of pop group DESTINY’S CHILD, insisting she’s not to blame for the break-up.
The singer came under fire in 1999 when LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson left the group and filed suit against the group’s manager and Knowles’ father, Matthew, claiming favouritism.
But the singer insists she was any easy target to blame for their departure before she and bandmate Kelly Rowland rose to superstardom with new member Michelle Williams.
She says, "It was definitely difficult because I was so young and my father was my manager and the group was like family. I felt like, what are we gonna do? We weren’t making any money yet.
"I was the lead singer, so I got the blame… That was the first time I had to deal with rumours and people attacking me. I was an 18-year-old kid, so I didn’t understand it was just a part of this life and it wasn’t personal. I didn’t have a thick skin yet. I was so embarrassed and wanted to defend myself and please everybody." The Destiny’s Child trio eventually parted ways in 2005.

Movie classic BEN HUR is to be turned into a live action show for a new London spectacular.
German producer Franz Abraham has spent the last 15 years devising the multi-million dollar production and it will finally be seen by audiences when it debuts at the capital’s O2 Arena next year (09).
The show will feature special light, sound, water, wind and pyrotechnic effects, as well as 100 animals, including horses, donkeys, camels, chickens and eagles.
The highlight of the epic promises to be the climatic chariot race as depicted by Charlton Heston in the Oscar winning 1959 film, based on the novel Ben Hur - A Tale of Christ by Lew Wallace.
The historical story will be played out with a full symphonic soundtrack created by Hollywood producer Klaus Badelt.
Abraham says, "I have aimed to create something completely new, with a high level of artistry, that would excite the audience. The show will have the speed of a musical, the depth of great theatre, the power of a rock concert and the visual opulence of a Hollywood blockbuster." Ben Hur Live will have its world premiere on 15 September 2009.
