Spanish pop star ENRIQUE IGLESIAS is unfazed by his girlfriend ANNA KOURNIKOVA’s remarks that she would never marry him - because he’s convinced she’ll leave him anyway.
The Hero singer has been dating tennis beauty Kournikova since 2002, but he isn’t holding out for marriage and kids with the Russian.
He says, "Life goes by so fast. My 20s were a blur. I want to enjoy the good moments. They could involve marriage and kids, but not yet. My grandfather had a baby when he was 92. Now there was a man who knew how to live! "Anna’s clock may be ticking but I don’t think she’s ready for kids either.
We talked about it all one day and she said that she wouldn’t marry me. And she meant it. She said I’m probably just a guy she wants to date for a few years, then she’ll leave me. I’m cool with that.
"Obviously I’m with her because she’s my dream woman. But if she left me tomorrow, what am I going to do? She would have no trouble finding the guy she wants to marry." And Iglesias insists he’s only being realistic about their romance, because few relationships last to stand the test of time.
He continues, "People break up all the time. The reality is people get married, think it’s going to be forever, then they get divorced." But if Kournikova one day accepts his marriage proposal, he claims he’d shun a big, white wedding in favour of a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas.
He adds, "Even if Anna and I were to have children, I wouldn’t think marriage was that important. And even if we did get married, I’d do it in a drive-through in Vegas. But Anna wouldn’t marry someone like me, even if I try."

Actress SIENNA MILLER has reportedly called off her romance with married oil heir and actor BALTHAZAR GETTY after a series of rows over their differing lifestyles.
The Alfie star is alleged to have recently flown back to her native Britain after initiating a "cooling-off" period with Getty.
She is claimed to have clashed with Getty, who recently announced his separation from wife Rosetta, over his reluctance to file for divorce. The former couple has four children together, ranging from eight years to 13 months old.
However, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday, reformed alcoholic Getty is also fed up of Miller’s partying lifestyle.
So the couple has decided to spend some time apart in a bid to save their relationship, the newspaper claims.
A source tells the publication, "Sienna is back in London to give them both some cooling-off time. They are still together at the moment but she has said things aren’t good. There have been some pretty unpleasant rows, largely over Balthazar’s reluctance to commit.
"She has really wanted to be able to step out as a couple but Balthazar is very torn over his children and it looks like he might be wanting to go back to his family. Sienna is devastated… Sienna is totally paranoid he is going to go back to his family. She feels very let down by Balthazar." The actors have been romantically linked since the summer (08) when they were spotted together in Prague in the Czech Republic, on the set of Miller’s new movie GI Joe.
A spokesperson for Miller has refused to comment on the reports.

Director GUY RITCHIE was forced to call security on the set of his new movie SHERLOCK HOLMES when a crazed fan of his estranged wife MADONNA reportedly threatened to stab him to death.
The filmmaker and the Material Girl hitmaker announced plans to divorce last month (Oct08), and Ritchie has become a target for obsessed Madonna fans since.
Police were called to his London pub The Punchbowl on Thursday (30Oct08) night after a man verbally abused the star, and now it’s emerged that cops had to arrest a 16-year-old boy, reportedly wielding a knife, on the set of the Sherlock Holmes remake.
According to Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper, the unnamed teenager burst onto the set in Manchester, England, waving a 12-inch (30 centimetre) blade and yelled, "Where’s Guy? I’m going to kill him!" As security guards wrestled the boy to the ground, he allegedly shouted, "I’m Madonna’s biggest fan! I’m gonna kill Guy!" A source tells the publication, "The bloke was screaming about Guy and shouting, ‘I love Madonna’. It was terrifying. At first it seemed like a sick joke but it was soon obvious the knifeman was not messing around.
"Luckily there were four security guards and two policemen who were able to overpower him.
"Guy was understandably upset, but carried on as if nothing had happened." A spokesperson for Ritchie was unable to be reached for comment as WENN went to press.

JESSICA SIMPSON spent part of her Saturday night (01Nov08) in hospital after her stylist friend KEN PAVES was injured by a photographer trying to take the singer’s picture.
The pop star was leaving Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles with the celebrity hairdresser when a scrum of paparazzi descended upon the group.
But as they tried to get into their waiting car, Paves was hit near his eye with a camera, leaving him with blood trickling down his face, according to website TMZ.com.
Simpson’s driver took them to a local hospital - where the singer accompanied Paves into the building to seek medical care.

BEYONCE KNOWLES piled on the pounds to play R&B great ETTA JAMES with the help of butter pecan ice-cream.
The singer/actress gained 20 pounds (9 kilograms) to play the singer in new movie Cadillac Records and admits she indulged in frozen treats to bulk up.
She says, "I ate a lot of butter pecan ice-cream it when I was preparing for Cadillac Records. I was able to eat as much as I wanted because they wanted me to gain the weight. It was heaven."

British actor DAVID THEWLIS felt a little foolish during a recent trip to Disneyland - because no one recognised him from the HARRY POTTER films.
Thewlis, who plays Remus Lupin in the boy wizard franchise, was so worried he’d be mobbed by young Potter fans, he hired a park bodyguard for the day - to make sure he and his family were safe at all times. But the minder didn’t have to do anything.
He says, "It seems I can be around children a lot and I don’t get recognised for Harry Potter. I was at Disneyland for six hours and wasn’t approached once, and didn’t even feel like anyone was looking at me.
"I think the woman taking me around thought it was strange because it was her job to bodyguard me for the day, and she didn’t really have a job because it was like, ‘Why am I here?’ She was there to get me to the front of the rides, I think."

Movie star GERARD BUTLER had an epiphany at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, Israel - but it wasn’t enough to stop him smoking.
The 300 star turned to prayer after hypnotism and patches failed to work, and for a moment, he thought a higher power had helped end his nicotine addiction.
Butler says, "I’m thinking, ‘If this guy (Jesus) can die for mankind, the least I can do is quit smoking.
"I really felt an epiphany was happening. I even thought I saw a light around me. Four hours later, I bought a packet of Marlboro Reds. Who am I kidding? I need a cigarette."

Oscar winning film producer JOHN DALY has died of cancer. He was 71.
Daly, who won 13 Academy Awards for films including The Last Emperor and 1986 movie Platoon, passed away on Friday (31Oct08) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to his daughter Jenny Daly.
The British-born producer, who was Chairman of Film and Music Entertainment Inc (F&ME), helped start the careers of stars including Keanu Reeves and Julia Roberts.
Lawrence Lotman, Chief Financial Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer of F&ME, paid tribute to his colleague, saying, "John was truly a giant in the industry who changed filmmaking for the better." Daly is survived by three sons, Michael, Julian and Timothy, and his daughter.

BOB GELDOF’s daughter PEACHES has been accused of attempting to take clothes from a London designer store without paying - for the fourth time in two years.
Peaches Geldof, the 19-year-old daughter of the rocker-turned-philanthropist, is alleged to have deliberately walked out of east London store Luna & Curious earlier this week (begs27Oct08) with an item of clothing she had not paid for.
According to Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper, the teenager was spotted "behaving atrociously" before leaving the shop with a garment draped over her arm.
When a store assistant noticed the item was missing, she ran out and tracked Geldof down in another designer shop nearby and confronted her about the goods.
Geldof reportedly claimed she had taken the garment by accident and agreed to return to Luna & Curious to pay for it.
A shop source says, "My colleague was shocked. Her behaviour was absolutely unbelievable in the shop before the incident happened. She was acting very bizarrely. The matter is closed, but an apology would have been nice." However, a representative for Geldof claims the star has no memory of the incident.
The spokesperson says, "She can’t remember ever visiting this shop. She may have done, but not on a regular basis." It’s not the first time the teen has been accused of shoplifting - she was first stopped in London’s Oxford Street in 2006 after allegedly failing to pay for a coat. Most recently, in April (08), she was said to have walked out of a store in central London with a $820 (£500) silk dress after "forgetting" to pay for it.

Animators behind comedy cartoon series THE SIMPSONS have been slammed for showing their support for U.S. presidential candidate BARACK OBAMA - and implying that the rival Republican party is involved in vote-rigging.
In the first episode of season 20 of the hit show, character Homer Simpson attempts to vote for Democrat Obama five times - but each time he tries, the vote registers for Republican candidate John McCain instead.
The comedy sequence, which aired in the U.S. on Saturday night (01Nov08), has been slammed by McCain supporters, who fear the move will add support to Obama’s campaign in this week’s (04Nov08) presidential election.
One McCain supporter, writing on a Republican website, says, "I realise a lot of celebrities are in the tank for Barack Obama but I am very disappointed to learn Homer appears to be among them." But The Simpsons writer Al Jean has defended the episode, insisting the move wasn’t intended to show favour to Obama.
He says, "We try to satirise society. I think there are people who believe the voting process, especially with electronic voting machines, is suspect, so that’s what we’re satirising."

LATEST: SIMON COWELL’s mother has blamed the music mogul for the breakdown of his relationship with longterm girlfriend TERRI SEYMOUR - and is urging the pair to give their romance one last try.
The couple dated for more than six years, but Seymour is alleged to have dumped Cowell two months ago (Sep08) over his refusal to marry and settle down.
And now the American Idol judge’s mum Julie is praying her son will come to his senses.
She says, "Everyone in our family loves her. She’s like part of the family and always will be. At the end of the day, Simon doesn’t want a family and I think that’s got a lot to do with it. She’s a lovely girl… I’m hoping they’ll get back together." Seymour reportedly called off their romance after tiring of Cowell’s dedication to his work - which would see him spend months abroad while she stayed at their Hollywood home.
She is also alleged to be fed up of Cowell spending so much time with his ex-lovers, former model Jackie Sinclair and singer Sinitta, who he has recruited to help him spot talent on his U.K. reality show The X Factor.
A source tells Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper, "Seeing different women hang off your boyfriend’s arm when you’re thousands of miles apart is so hard… She was fed up with him hanging out with the same old (people) in L.A.
In London, Jackie was always around, particularly at the start of their relationship, as was Sinitta. Like any woman Terri wanted to feel special." Cowell’s representative, PR guru Max Clifford, has confirmed the couple’s split, but insists they have parted amicably.
He says, "Terri ended it in late summer. They are going to remain close friends. He understands her reason for ending it. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon’s side."

ROLLING STONES star RONNIE WOOD has reportedly offered his estranged wife $4.9 million (£3 million) a year in a lucrative divorce deal.
The rocker, 61, walked out on wife of 23 years, Jo, in July (08) after his affair with 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova was exposed in the press.
And Jo Wood is set to cash in on the split after receiving the whopping divorce deal.
She will allegedly receive $410,000 (£250,000)-a-month in a deal worth an estimated $82 million (£50 million).
The star is said to be keen to settle the divorce outside of court and has reportedly told pals, "I don’t care about the money. Jo can have what she wants. (Ivanova) and I are together and I’m happy." A source adds, "Ronnie feels the marriage is over but he wants to do the right thing by Jo - even though they have not talked for months."

Clean-cut opera star KATHERINE JENKINS has stunned fans after confessing to taking cocaine and ecstasy during her youth.
The Welsh mezzo soprano admitted to taking the hardcore drugs as she was studying at London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Music, starting when she was just 19.
But the experience often left her feeling depressed after a night of excess.
She says, "I tried one line of cocaine that first time. I’m not going to blame anyone else for giving it to me, or even say who it was. I take responsibility for my own actions, and always will. I took cocaine a handful of times more after that, maybe five or six… I’d take up to three lines a night…
"After taking cocaine, I felt absolutely terrible. It was like the worst hangover in the world times 10, times 100. I’d feel depressed and paranoid, it was awful.
"I also tried ecstasy and MDMA, which is the powder form of ecstasy. But afterwards that made me feel worse than cocaine. I didn’t want to live the next day, it made me feel so depressed. It was horrible, just horrible." It was only when Jenkins secured a deal with Universal Records worth over $1.64 million (£1 million) in 2003 that she realised her future was at stake so she kicked her drug demons once and for all.
And Jenkins - who has just signed a $9.8 million (£6 million) record deal with Warner Music - insists she deeply regrets her drugs shame.
She continues, "It’s not something I ever wanted to talk about publicly, because taking drugs is the biggest regret of my life.
"Look at Amy Winehouse. She’s an amazing talent but she is in such a bad way, it’s such a shame. I could have ended up like her. It’s possible. I don’t think I’d ever have got that bad, but who knows with drugs. They’re frightening. And that’s why I feel so lucky to have stopped when I did."

The music executive who succeeded rap mogul JAY-Z as head of Def Jam Records has been found shot dead in his Atlanta, Georgia apartment.
The body of Shakir Stewart, Def Jam Executive Vice President, was discovered on Saturday (01Nov08), allegedly with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, according to AllHipHop.com. The official cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
A statement released by label bosses reads, "L.A. Reid and all of us at Island Def Jam Music Group are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and colleague Shakir Stewart.
"Shakir was an amazing man, in every sense of the word. A truly incredible friend and father who was an inspiration to not only our artists and employees, but to his family and the many people who had the privilege of counting him as a friend. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family at this very difficult time." Jay-Z stepped down from his post at the start of the year (08) and Stewart was named as his replacement in June 2008.
Stewart, who regularly travelled between Atlanta and his office in New York, had worked for Def Jam since 2004, and was responsible for signing rappers Rick Ross and Young Jeezy to the label founded by Russell Simmons and producer Rick Rubin in the mid-1980s.
