GUNS N’ ROSES LEAKER’S CHARGES REDUCED
The man accused of leaking new GUNS N’ ROSES tracks online has been given a Halloween treat - felony charges against him have been reduced to misdemeanours.
Kevin Cogill now faces one year behind bars instead of five if he’s found guilty of copyright infringement.
Cogill posted nine unreleased Guns N’ Roses songs on his website, TheAntiquiet.com, earlier this year (08). The matter became a federal investigation after lawyers representing the group forced him to remove the items from cyberspace.
The 27 year old was arrested by FBI agents in August (08).
The tracks Cogill leaked are believed to be tunes from Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming album Chinese Democracy.
