KODAK DESIGNER TO CREATE OSCARS SET

DAVID ROCKWELL, the brains behind the Oscars’ Kodak Theatre home in Hollywood, has been hired as stage designer for the 81st Academy Awards next year (09).
It will be Rockwell’s first time masterminding the Oscars set.
The in-demand designer and his Rockwell Group have also created stages for the upcoming Broadway productions Catch Me If You Can and Houdini, as well as the sets for the stage productions Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and The Rocky Horror Show.
