MELROSE COMEBACK PLANS IN PLACE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:39 pm

Popular 1990s soap opera MELROSE PLACE is reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 with a return to the small screen.
Bosses on the show - which launched the careers of Marcia Cross and Kristin Davis - are working on an updated version of the series, according to E! Online.
The show ran from 1992 to 1999 and was notorious for its sensationalist storylines and extravagant characters.
The move to bring it back comes after the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off hit screens in the U.S. in the summer (08). Both series were produced by late TV mogul Aaron Spelling.
Former Melrose Place star Lisa Rinna has fuelled reports of a comeback, saying, "I’ve heard a rumor of them bringing back the show like they did 90210."
