TRUMP’S PLANS FOR SCOTTISH GOLF-COURSE GET BOOST

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:30 pm

Real-estate tycoon DONALD TRUMP’s plan to build the "world’s greatest golf course" in Scotland has been boosted the farmer who initially refused to sell his land to the American mogul.
Trump is awaiting a decision from Scottish officials to grant him permission to build the $2 billion (£1.3 billion) golf resort in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Michael Forbes, a farmer and fisherman in the area, insisted he would "never sell" the 23 acres of land he owns, which stands in the way of the project which includes two luxury golf-courses, a five-star hotel and 1,450 homes.
But despite being hailed as a local hero for rejecting Trump’s offer to pay $550,000 (£355,918) in addition to an annual salary of $80,000 (£51,770) for an unspecified job, the 55-year-old is certain the plans will be approved by the Scottish government.
Forbes tells British newspaper The Press and Journal: "There is far too much money involved now for it not to happen. All the politicians want it, so (it) is going to be built." An official decision by government officials is not expected until the end of the year (08).
