POEHLER BECOMES A REAL BABY MAMA
Comedienne AMY POEHLER has become a mum for the very first time - giving birth to a baby boy.
The American funnywoman welcomed her first child with husband, Arrested Development star Will Arnett, on Saturday (25Oct08).
The pair has called the tot - who weighed just over 8 lbs - Archie Arnett.
The Baby Mama actress left her regular slot on hit U.S. sketch show Saturday Night Live last month (Sep08) in preparation for the new arrival.
The star has received widespread applause for her caricature performances of Hillary Clinton to Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin.
And her former co-stars were celebrating when the show was aired on Saturday night, telling a cheering crowd: "Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby." Poehler won’t return to SNL after her maternity leave - she is planning a spin-off series to the hit U.S. version of The Office.
