CRAIG: ‘BEACH SCENE WAS A FLUKE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:39 pm

BOND star DANIEL CRAIG believes his reputation as a movie hunk is down to luck - because the famous scene of him in swimming trunks was filmed by accident.
The actor insists the notorious sequence in his Bond debut Casino Royale, in which he emerges from the sea looking muscular and wearing a tight blue swimsuit, was not intentional.
But he is glad producers decided to use the footage - because it wowed female fans and cemented his reputation as the ladykiller superspy.
He tells Skymag, "The joke of it is that scene happened by accident. Where we were filming in the Bahamas, the beach has a very low shelf and the water is very narrow. I kind of swam underwater for a while and then came up, and of course it’s only up to my knees. So you saw more of me than we were expecting!"
