FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ has been warned by his mother not to consider a career in politics - because he has too many tattoos.
The bassist also admits his life as a rock star would prevent him from working at the White House.
He says, "I could never pursue a career in politics. I’ve been involved in far too many scandals.
"My mom says ‘You have too many tattoos’. Yeah, too many scandals and too many tattoos.
"Isn’t that an irony, though, now that so many of our generation have tattoos? A tattooed person will end up in office one day, mark my words. Not necessarily at a presidential level, but there will be people with tattoos in the administration."

RAZORLIGHT frontman JOHNNY BORRELL has hit out at stars who constantly complain about press intrusion - insisting he is not bothered by the attention.
The British singer became a high profile media target while he was dating Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst last year (07).
But Borrell is adamant that celebrities in the public eye should not complain about their lifestyle, because there are plenty of people who have to work much harder to earn a living.
He says, "I’m a single bloke. I haven’t got kids. I haven’t got a family. So, for me, that’s not intrusive. I’m not going to complain about my life. That’s nuts. People who are in a position like me and complain have lost all touch with reality. There are people working their butts off every day and that is real life. I don’t understand people who moan about success or fame."

Former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL refuses to move to America - because she wants her daughter to have an English accent.
Halliwell’s former bandmates Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham have both opted to raise their children in Los Angeles.
But the 36-year-old - who currently lives in London - refuses to leave the U.K. in fear of landing her daughter Bluebell Madonna with a U.S. accent.
She says, "I want my daughter to have an English accent because it’s really elegant - also my friends and family are nearby.
"I have got some friends in Los Angeles but they are more dependable here."

FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ credits prescription drugs with saving his life but is urging depressed youngsters not to meddle with them.
The bassist suffers from bipolar disorder - which leads to chronic mood swings - and in 2005 attempted to take his own life with an overdose.
But despite turning his life around with the aid of prescription medication, Wentz warns the younger generation not to rely on the drugs.
He says, "I think that medication has helped me at times in my life. I’ve needed to be on medication, it’s saved my life. But it’s definitely an over-medicated generation. Rather than having any kinds of conversations with anyone to solve our problems, we go and see what pill we can take to make it all go away."

LILY ALLEN is set to cause controversy with her new song - it is all about taking drugs.
The Smile hitmaker posted a snippet of a new track from her forthcoming album It’s Not Me, It’s You on her MySpace blog - and the song appears to be a commentary on drug culture.
The lyrics for Everyone’s At It include the lines: "I’m not trying to say that I’m smelling of roses but when will we tire of putting s**t up our noses.
"It’s meant to be fun and this just doesn’t feel right/ Why can’t we all just be honest and admit to ourselves everyone’s on it." The new album is due for release in February (09).

A car driven by SEAN CONNERY in the JAMES BOND movies has been named the most iconic motor ever in a new poll.
The Aston Martin DB5, first driven in 1964 film Goldfinger, topped a survey to find the coolest vehicle, with 16 per cent of the vote.
In joint second place was the Jaguar E-Type and the Mini Cooper, in the poll of 2,300 people for British TV channel Dave.
Rounding out the top five was another James Bond car, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and the Austin Mini.

MICHAEL JACKSON has bought himself a new aeroplane.
The King of Pop was spotted browsing in antique store Off The Wall on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles on Thursday (23Oct08) and managed to snap up a silver model plane before the paparazzi descended on the place and he was forced to flee in an SUV.
The purchase of the plane remains a mystery. The proprietor of the quirky antiques store refused to comment about his celebrity visitor, confirming only that the pop star bought a model aircraft.

Actor MATT DAMON is so determined to see BARACK OBAMA win the U.S. Presidential election, he has vowed to be on hand to support the Democrat in any way he can.
The Bourne Identity star is a staunch Obama supporter - and even launched an attack on opposition John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin last month (Sep08), insisting it would be "absurd" if they were elected.
Damon is heading to Florida this weekend (25/26Oct08) to work with the Obama campaign on promoting the 4 November (08) vote in a key state.
And despite flying to Morocco to work on a movie straight afterwards, Damon has promised to stay in contact with the campaign in case there is anything else he can do.
He says, "I’m sure I’ll be on the phone over there after filming every night.
I’ll do telephone interviews or whatever they’ll have me do. I want to sprint to the finish with the millions of us who really have been desperate for this change.
"The Obama campaign has decided to focus on the positive, and I should be a bigger man and be able to do that with them."

BRITNEY SPEARS has sparked a new trend at baby christenings - her youngest son’s name is the second most popular in New York.
Jayden has landed at number two on New York City’s Department of Health’s annual list of most popular baby names.
Other celebrities who are helping mums and dads pick baby names, according to the new list, are Rihanna, Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
Brits Miller and Knightley have helped put Sienna and Keira at numbers 60 and 61 on the countdown respectively, Rihanna is popular at 70 and Charlize is a new name at 84.
Suri, the exotic name Cruise and Holmes picked for their daughter, is at 83.

Former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL is turning her hit book series into a movie and would love BRAD PITT and GEORGE CLOONEY to voice the characters.
The singer-turned-storyteller published her own series of childrens’ stories about fictional heroine Ugenia Lavender earlier this year (08) and has become the surprise hit of the kids’ literature market.
And now she is planning on turning the books into an animated film - and would be delighted if Clooney and Pitt lent their vocals to the production.
She says, "I’ve not met Brad Pitt so he’s unlikely, realistically, to take part but I am desperate to get the gorgeous George on board." And that isn’t all - Halliwell is also working on her debut movie script: "I’m also writing my first Hollywood screenplay, which is incredibly exciting.

MADONNA is reportedly having religious counselling to help her get through her divorce from GUY RITCHIE.

"She’s furious that he feels entitled to get a lot of cash, while she’s the one working her ass off on tour.
"She is getting help from a Kabbalah counsellor who is helping her try to put aside her anger, so they can settle the divorce as quickly as possible for the sake of the children. The counsellor is telling her she will meet her soulmate - but first has to calm her anger."

GUY RITCHIE’s film LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS has topped a poll to find the best movie set in London.
The 1998 gangster film saw off competition from Simon Pegg’s zombie comedy Shaun Of The Dead which came in second place in the poll.
In third was horror movie 28 Days Later, followed by Hugh Grant romantic-comedy Love Actually.
Rounding out the top five was Withnail & I, in the survey which was timed to coincide with the London Film Festival, currently happening in the British capital.
Bridget Jones’s Diary, An American Werewolf In London, Notting Hill, Snatch and The Long Good Friday made up the rest of the top ten.

Actor SIR MICHAEL GAMBON is expecting a second child with his mistress - at the age of 68.
The Harry Potter star married his wife, Lady Anne, when he was 22 and the pair has a 44-year-old son, Fergus.
But Gambon also acquired a mistress and in 2002 he moved out of his marital home in Kent, England.
The pair welcomed a son, Michael, in May last year (07) - and they are now expecting another baby.
A friend of the star tells Britain’s The Sun. "Michael and Philippa are delighted that she’s pregnant again, but he is very worried about what his wife thinks of all this.
"He says it will cause him a lot of hassle if it comes out, but his private arrangements are so complicated he can’t really expect a smooth ride. He continues to see his wife and mistress, but is very secretive about both relationships. He may be getting on, but Michael is still a wizard with the ladies." But Gambon’s age was reportedly one of the reasons the couple decided to have another child.
The source adds, "Philippa wanted a brother or sister for little Michael because when he gets into his teens, it’s possible Sir Michael might not be around. Philippa felt it important her son had a sibling. She’s also in her forties, so this could be the last chance for more kids.
"Sir Michael’s happy, but he’s got a few more frown lines since telling his wife. She knows everything and seems to be taking it in her stride."

VANESSA HUDGENS felt an instant chemistry with HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL co-star and boyfriend ZAC EFRON - because he was so attractive.

British rockers THE SMITHS are reportedly close to reforming for a special one-off gig.
The band split in 1987 after five years together and the members went on to enjoy solo careers.
They have previously refused to regroup - but a massive pay offer looks set to change their minds, according to British newspaper The Sun.
The former band members have allegedly been offered the opportunity to reform for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California next year (09) despite former frontman Morrissey previously turning down a $4.5 million (£2.8 million) offer to perform at the event.
A source tells the publication, "It has looked impossible in the past but suddenly it all looks like it could happen. The buzz around the people who used to work for the band is they could play Coachella for a ludicrous amount of money.
"It’s closer than it ever has been. The split was a messy affair, but time’s a healer."

LATEST: KATY PERRY has hit back at her controversial knife snap, insisting she is "against all violence" The I Kissed A Girl was pictured earlier this week (22Oct08) holding a blade up to her face in a promotional picture taken for her album, One For The Boys.
Anti-crime protesters in Britain slammed the star, branding her "out of her mind" and "unacceptable".
But a representative for Perry has defended her decision to pose with the knife, telling MTV News, "Katy Perry is against all violence. The photo in question was taken in 2005 and is in no way related to the current events in the U.K." And Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz has also stood up for Perry’s posed snap, saying, "It’s not just because Katy’s boyfriend Travis (McCoy) is my dude, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to compare that photo to somebody promoting violence."
