TAYLOR MOMSEN BEATS ‘LIFE-THREATENING’ THROAT INFECION
Teen actress TAYLOR MOMSEN has been released from hospital in Los Angeles, after overcoming a "potentially life-threatening" throat infection.
The 15-year-old star of How The Grinch Stole Christmas spent four days at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after falling ill on Sunday (19Oct08), as she prepared for a school exam.
Her doctor, Shawn Nasseri, tells Usmagazine.com,"I have been treating Miss Taylor Momsen for the last few days. She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday.
"She has been an excellent patient, and, after aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days." Momsen is currently among the stars of TV hit Gossip Girl.
