COSTNER: ‘MY WIFE INSPIRED MUSIC CAREER’
Hollywood actor KEVIN COSTNER has credited his wife CHRISTINE BAUMGARTNER with helping him forge his music career.
The Bodyguard star - formerly a member of Roving Boy - now fronts rock band Modern West in between making movies.
But he admits that although music has been a lifelong love, he was unsure about dabbling in the industry and probably wouldn’t have indulged his passion without his partner’s constant encouragement.
He says, "She heard some of my older music and said, ‘Why don’t you try it again.’ I kept giving her these excuses, but she kept at it. It wasn’t once a week, it wasn’t once a month, it was whenever she felt to mention it to build up my confidence. So she’s the reason I’m making music again. And I feel so happy about that."
