PAISLEY ‘ARRESTED’ IN JEWEL PRANK
Country rocker BRAD PAISLEY was hauled off in handcuffs by cops at Nashville Airport in Tennessee on Sunday (19Oct08) after his singer pal JEWEL arranged for him to be ‘arrested’.
The shocked star was nabbed by two uniformed men as he arrived home in Nashville after completing his tour with Jewel.
But he realised he was the victim of a practical joke, when the officers told him, "We have a Miss Jewel Murray who has filed 42 charges against you in the states of Texas and Tennessee for excessive noodling." Murray is Jewel’s married name after she wed rodeo star Ty Murray this summer (08).
A laughing Paisley told People.com, "This is absolutely as good as it gets.
This is the best I’ve ever been had." Paisley has a reputation for pranking his tourmates; he once imprisoned Jack Ingram in a PVC pipe cage onstage; and tricked Chuck Wicks into thinking he had been dumped by his girlfriend Julianna Hough.
