BIRDMAN GETS SUSPENDED PRISON SENTENCE
Rap mogul BRYAN ‘BIRDMAN’ WILLIAMS has been handed a suspended jail sentence after pleading no contest to drug possession.
The Cash Money Records CEO, also known as Baby, appeared in a Kingsport, Tennessee court on Friday (17Oct08) to answer marijuana charges relating to his November 2007 arrest.
He and a number of his entourage entered a no contest plea and were each hit with 11 months and 29 days in a suspended sentence. They were also ordered to pay fines of $905 (£520) in addition to court costs.
