CRAIG GOT BOND CALL WHILE SHOPPING FOR GROCERIES IN BALTIMORE
DANIEL CRAIG discovered he’d be taking over from PIERCE BROSNAN as movie superspy JAMES BOND while grocery shopping in Baltimore, Maryland.
The British actor was in a Whole Foods supermarket when Bond producer Barbara Broccoli called to tell him he was the next 007.
Craig recalls, "She went, ‘Over to you kiddo,’ so I put down the groceries, went straight into the liquor store, bought a bottle of vodka and got smashed."
