CRAIG IN A SLING AFTER SHOULDER SURGERY
JAMES BOND star DANIEL CRAIG has had the shoulder he injured on the set of QUANTUM OF SOLACE reconstructed.
The actor appeared on Friday night’s (17Oct08) The Tonight Show in America with his right arm in a sling, and he told host Jay Leno he was recovering from major surgery.
The brave Brit explained he has had six screws placed in his shoulder, adding, "They dissolve." Craig revealed the shoulder procedure was uncomfortable at first, explaining, "They (doctors) kind of wrap you up," but he’s now in the rehabilitation stage and "it’s all looking good".
Making his second Bond film was a painful experience for the actor - he also lost a pad off a finger on his right hand in a fight scene and needed eight stitches in his face when he got kicked by "a stray shoe".
