BRITNEY TRIAL STALLED UNTIL MONDAY
LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS will have to wait until Monday to find out if she’ll be handed a new record - a criminal one.
The jury in the pop star’s misdemeanour driving-without-a-valid-licence trial left court in Los Angeles on Friday (17Oct08) without reaching a verdict.
The panel deliberated for more than two hours after prosecutors and Spears’ attorneys finished calling evidence on the second day of the trial.
Spears was arrested last year (07) for driving without a valid California state licence. She denies the charge.
