Singer NATASHA BEDINGFIELD’s mum is set to enter the record books after diving off Mount Everest.
Molly Bedingfield is currently in Nepal, preparing to climb the world’s highest mountain, from which she’ll attempt the highest charity sky dive.
The pop star says, "She’s terrified of heights, but she’s like, ‘I can do it… I’ve had four kids’.
"They’ve going in a plane and they’re gonna skydive. You have to wear a mask because it’s really high." The singer’s fiance Matthew Robinson is acting as his daring mother-on-law-to-be’s assistant as she attempts the climb and dive.
Bedingfield says, "He’s making sure she’s OK." Molly will be raising cash for the Global Angels Children’s Charity she founded.

BRUCE WILLIS is set to wed again after he and his girlfriend of eight months were spotted shopping for engagement rings.
The movie star treated model girlfriend Emma Heming to a ring shop at Cartier in Beverly Hills on 30 September (08), according to U.S. magazine Life & Style.
And the pair hovered around the engagement rings, according to a witness, who tells the publication, "Emma seemed to like one that had a very art deco feel to it… It was a smaller diamond set in platinum, and it was very feminine and unique." Willis, who is 23 years older than his girlfriend, was previously married to Demi Moore.

LATEST: Ten women and four men will decide BRITNEY SPEARS’ fate in her upcoming misdemeanour driving-without-a-license trial after they were selected for the jury on Thursday (16Oct08).
The 12-person panel, with two alternates, will oversee the trial when it begins in Van Nuys, California.
Spears was not in court for jury selection, but she might have liked what she heard, as most of those picked expressed sympathy for the fallen pop princess.
One juror told Judge James Steele, "I think she’s a train wreck, but it’s not her doing. She has some not good people around her. It’s a sad situation," while another offered, "She has medical problems, but, with the right help, she’ll be OK." Opening statements were to begin as WENN went to press.
If convicted, Spears faces a maximum six months in jail and a $1,000 (£540) fine. She isn’t required to attend the hearings.
Spears was arrested after police allegedly caught her driving without a valid California licence. At the time, she was allegedly only in possession of a licence from her native Louisiana.

BRITNEY SPEARS will reportedly feature on the January (09) cover of Glamour magazine - the publication which named her Woman of The Year in 2003.
Glamour bosses are refusing to confirm the speculation - because the magazine has a policy of not commenting on upcoming issues.
But Eonline.com gossip Marc Malkin claims the Patrick Demarchelier shots will appear in the magazine, which will hit the streets to coincide with the release of the pop star’s new album, Circus.

HEROES star HAYDEN PANETTIERE has some pretty lofty goals when it comes to flirting with men - she was spotted exchanging telephone numbers with Los Angeles Lakers basketball star LAMAR ODOM on Wednesday night (15Oct08).
The diminutive actress was leaving rapper Jay-Z’s concert in Hollywood when the 6ft 10ins (2.08 meter) sports star met up with her outside the Palladium.
One bystander says, "She seemed thrilled to see Lamar and flirted up a storm with him. He spent much of their chat almost bent double, so he could hear what she was saying.
"I thought she was dating Milo Ventimiglia, but that didn’t seem to stop her exchanging numbers with Lamar. He seemed very fond of her."

LISA KUDROW revisited the FRIENDS coffee shop set on Thursday (16Oct08) for a skit on comedienne ELLEN DeGENERES’ chat show.
The Central Perk set is now part of a museum exhibit on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California - and Kudrow admitted it was strange to be back in the coffee shop where she and her co-stars on the smash-hit show hung-out for a decade.
Speaking from the set, Kudrow said, "This is weird… It brings back a lot of memories." Later, in the Ellen studio, the actress revealed she hadn’t been back to Central Perk since the show ended in May, 2004.
She added, "That’s the set. I mean, we were done shooting and they just started taking it out."

Fashion queen VIVIENNE WESTWOOD’s photographer son BEN is to lead a chain gang of bound and gagged models and activists through London next week (beg20Oct08) to protest new British anti-pornography laws that will be introduced in January (08).
Such a protest will be deemed illegal from the beginning of 2009 when the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill becomes law and images like this are classified as extreme pornography - even though all participants are consenting adults.
The Consenting Adult Action Network (CAAN), which has organised the protest, argues the new government legislation restricts the sexual choices of adults.
And photographer Westwood says, "Government gets away with murder when it comes to legislating about our sexual behaviour, because we are a strait-laced nation and far too many of us are embarrassed talking about sex." The provocative demonstration takes place on Tuesday (21Oct08).

Filmmaker MARC FORSTER turned down an offer to direct upcoming BOND movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE - until a meeting with DANIEL CRAIG changed his mind.
Forster spoke with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who tried to persuade him to take on the project by promising artistic freedom and his own staff.
The director insists he was wary of getting involved in the movie - because he didn’t want to be sucked into the Bond movie "machine".
But he changed his mind after a meeting with 007 actor Craig.
He says, "I thought, ‘He’s really real. There’s no bulls**t. I felt like I wanted to work with this guy’. The next thing I knew I was on a plane." But after taking on the daunting task of directing the action film, Forster was surprised by the lack of preparation.
He adds: "What scared me was that there was no script."

STAR TREK’s new SPOCK insists the new sci-fi blockbuster will be more successful at the U.S. box office if BARACK OBAMA is U.S. President.
Actor Zachary Quinto believes Obama’s optimism will drive film fans to see films that have positive messages - like Star Trek.
The Heroes star tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "This is a franchise that offers hope for unity, and so does Barack Obama.
"When this movie comes out, and Obama is President, hopefully there will be some parallels." Meanwhile, the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy - who makes a cameo appearance in the new Star Trek, believes the film should have been released prior to next month’s (04Nov08) U.S. election - to give movie fans a boost amid gloomy economic and environmental crises.
He says, "My only regret is that the movie can’t come out sooner. I think the world could use it. Don’t you?"

TEA LEONI has found a shoulder to cry on after separating from husband DAVID DUCHOVNY - ANGELINA JOLIE’s ex BILLY BOB THORNTON.
The two stars became friends while shooting new movie Manure, in which Leoni plays a cosmetics boss forced to take over her father’s fertiliser business.
And now, Thornton has become a big help as Leoni faces the end of of her 11-year marriage.

Veteran actor GEORGE HAMILTON has broken his silence about the sexual affair he had with his stepmother - when he was 12.
The 69-year-old star makes the shocking revelation in his new book, Don’t Mind If I Do: A Memoir - detailing the illicit relationship the two hid from his father, who died when the actor was a teen.
Hamilton says, "When I was very young, 12, I had a relationship with my stepmother - not of kin and not of blood. I always liked older women. She was about 28. My father never knew." And Hamilton insists he never questioned their relationship, despite the age gap and the fact he was underage.
Remembering how the pair rekindled their affair years later, he adds: "It was a very strange thing but it was normal. She didn’t make me feel bad about it…
It went on for a short period of time. Then, strangely enough, when I was of age, when I was an actor in Hollywood, I met her again and we had a follow-up…
"It didn’t feel abnormal at the age of 12 - it was called cuddling, and I cuddled."

JOHN MAYER got his birthday wish on Wednesday night (15Oct08) - ex-girlfriend JENNIFER ANISTON.
The couple split in August (08) but, amid claims they’ve reconciled, Aniston helped Mayer celebrate his 31st birthday in Los Angeles.
The actress showed up at members-only restaurant and cigar club the Grand Havana Room and stayed long after midnight to help Mayer ring in his birthday.
An onlooker says, "They seemed to be having a great time." It was the couple’s second outing in Los Angeles this week, following a dinner with friends the night before at the Sunset Towers. Mayer and Aniston are also planning to dine out together again tonight (16Oct08).
Sources tell WENN the couple has booked a table at a top West Hollywood restaurant.

EMINEM has revealed his sixth album will be called RELAPSE during a radio launch party for his new book THE WAY I AM on his Satellite Radio network on Wednesday night (15Oct08).

Rap mogul 50 CENT is to be joined by his G-UNIT sidekick TONY YAYO on his new MTV reality show THE MONEY AND THE POWER - to keep his entrepreneurial fans in line.
The In Da Club hitmaker - real name Curtis Jackson - is searching for the next big business boss from a group of 14 contestants in the Apprentice-style programme.
The wannabes will live together in a Brooklyn, New York warehouse dubbed Camp Curtis, where they will try to prove that they are the most savvy and street-smart.
But Yayo isn’t the only celebrity pal to join 50’s show - the contestants will also get to meet LL Cool J, Lloyd Banks, and Aubry O’Day, formerly of Danity Kane.
And 50 insists the eventual winner will have to make a strong impression on him, because he has high standards to meet.
He boasts, "If it was just my image, I wouldn’t have made this much money." The contestants will fight it out for the grand prize of $100,000 (£54,055) cash and assistance from the superstar to achieve their music dreams.
The show will premiere on U.S. TV on 6 November (08).

TOM CRUISE’s publicist has slammed internet reports the Hollywood actor has fallen to his death in New Zealand, insisting the star isn’t even in the country.
Rumours surfaced online on Thursday (16Oct08) alleging that the Mission: Impossible star had perished after falling from the Kauri Cliffs.
But Cruise’s publicist Jeff Raymond has moved fast to quash the false allegations, insisting the star is alive and well.

ANGELINA JOLIE has vowed not to settle down in one country with her partner BRAD PITT - insisting their six children will dictate when the family is ready to stop globetrotting.
