Rocker SHERYL CROW showed off a stunning new look on U.S. TV on Friday (10Oct08) when she stripped off to raise charity cash on THE ELLEN DeGENERES SHOW.
The singer became the latest star to get dropped in the comedienne’s ‘dunk pool’ - and she came prepared.
Wearing a form-fitting red one-piece bathing suit, matching swimming cap, high heels and nose band, Crow took her seat in the tank as the show host fired balls at a lever.
It took DeGeneres seven attempts to hit the target and drop a shocked Crow into the water.
Microsoft Windows Mobile bosses are donating $10,000 (£5,400) to DeGeneres’ Ellen For The Cure cancer drive for every celebrity dunked during October (08), America’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

ANGELINA JOLIE knew she was destined to become a mum during her first trip to Cambodia - because she flew out of the country thinking she had left something behind.
The actress insists she still doesn’t believe in fate, but there was something that lured her back to Cambodia, where she met and fell for her first adopted child, Maddox.
She tells WENN, "I went to that country and left that country feeling like I’d left something behind. I went back to that country on a humanitarian mission and was playing with blocks with a little kid and felt, ‘My son is here.’ "It was the strangest feeling. I woke up one day and they were going to introduce me to a kid and I wondered how I would feel, and the moment I saw him I knew I was his mother.
"I can’t explain it and I don’t know why I chose that country but it was absolutely meant to be."

Hip-hop star PHARRELL WILLIAMS thrilled fans by making a surprise appearance onstage with MADONNA in New York this weekend (begs11Oct08).
Williams joined the Holiday hitmaker during a gig at Madison Square Gardens on Saturday (11Oct08) to perform the star’s hit Give It 2 Me, which he co-wrote and co-produced.
And Madonna used the show to continue her tirade against U.S.
vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin after slamming the Republican at two previous concerts on her Sticky & Sweet world tour.
She played a screeching note on her guitar and said: "This is the sound of Sarah Palin thinking." And the Queen of Pop gave out condoms to the crowd with the politician’s face on them, saying that she promoted safe sex - a dig at Palin, who has five children, including a teenage daughter who is expecting a baby with her boyfriend.
But the singer showed a more caring side to the crowd by dedicating You Must Love Me to her young daughter Lourdes, telling fans, "My beautiful Lola is 12 today but when I first sang this song she was growing inside me."

KATE WINSLET’s daughter MIA will soon be a big sister to a half-sibling - the TITANIC star’s ex-husband JIM THREAPLETON is expecting a child with his second wife.
Winslet, 33, remains on good terms with filmmaker Threapleton, who she divorced in 2001, and even spends time with him and their eight-year-old, Mia, as well as her new husband, director Sam Mendes, and their four-year-old son Joe.
And the actress is "delighted" Threapleton and his new partner Julie will introduce a new bundle of joy into their close family circle next year (09).
Threapleton, 34, explains, "(Julie) is in the mid stages of pregnancy and as yet we don’t know what sex the baby will be.
"Obviously we hope that our child will get to know Mia and take his or her place in the extended family."

MARILYN MANSON’s former bandmate GIDGET GEIN has reportedly been found dead from a heroin overdose.
The body of the 39-year-old bass player - real name Brad Stewart - was discovered at his home in Burbank, Los Angeles on Thursday (09Oct08), according to NME.com.
Stewart performed as part of the shock rocker’s band from 1989 until 1993, when he was fired over his drug use and replaced by Twiggy Ramirez.
The star then launched his own band, Gidget Gein and the Dali Gaggers, and later ventured into art and fashion under the moniker Gollywood.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has stated it will not release further details until the star’s family has been informed of the situation.

Bollywood legend AMITABH BACHCHAN is recovering in hospital after being admitted with acute abdominal pains on Saturday (11Oct08), his 66th birthday.
Officials confirmed the star is responding positively to treatment after being carried into the clinic in Mumbai, India on a stretcher.
His son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, told reporters on Saturday his father was suffering from an "intestinal obstruction", and asked fans to keep him in their prayers.
Hospital spokesman Mohan Rahan says, "The medication has worked on him and doctors are pleased with his recovery." Rahan adds that Bachchan is expected to be released from hospital in the following days.
In 2005, Bachchan underwent surgery for an intestinal condition at the same hospital.

Rocker STING has paid an emotional tribute to opera legend LUCIANO PAVAROTTI ahead of a tribute concert honouring the Italian tenor.
The Police frontman will take to the stage on Sunday (12Oct08) for a special show in Petra, Jordan - sponsored by the Italian tenor’s widow Nicoletta Mantovani and Princess Haya of Jordan - marking what would have been Pavarotti’s 73rd birthday.
And Sting is full of praise for the late maestro, insisting his contribution to music enriched the world.
He says, "He had a big appetite this man, he had a big appetite for everything. He had an appetite for life but it was matched by a huge generosity with spirit. Luciano was a big man, he had a big heart and that generosity was transformed to his voice - and when we heard his voice, all of us were richer." The event on Sunday will also feature performances from Andrea Bocelli as well as Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo, who performed with the Italian as part of the Three Tenors.
Pavarotti died on 6 September 2007 after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer.

ANGELICA HUSTON can’t wait to see the finished cut of ORSON WELLES’ THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND - because it features one of her late father’s career highlights.
The long-awaited release of the 1975 film, starring John Huston and Jeanne Moreau, has been held up for more than two decades by financial issues.
Peter Bogdanovich, who also appeared in the movie, shot a revised final scene years after Welles’ death, but only a select few have seen the finished film and The Witches star Huston isn’t one of them.
She tells WENN, "What happened was at one point Iranian money came into the mix and Bogdanovich was going to shoot the last scene and I don’t know what happened to the last scene. I know my brother Danny has seen it. I haven’t seen it.
"Peter has offered to show it to me but it’s never come about. I understand they’re always just a whisper away from releasing it in some form. I don’t know what’s happening with it right now. I think it has a debt against of it of some five to seven million dollars or something like that." The actress admits she’s keen to see the film because her father had such fun working with Welles on it: "I remember my dad saying that Orson had done something that had never been done before; he was shooting Jeanne Moreau in Paris with her side of the conversation and then my father in Los Angeles with his side of the conversation and putting all of it together like a giant puzzle.
"I’d be fascinated to see it now."

TIM ROBBINS has been immortalised next to long-term partner SUSAN SARANDON his star was unveiled beside hers on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (10Oct08).
The actor, 49, announced he was "really honoured" to receive the 2,371st plaque on the star-studded stretch of Hollywood Boulevard, a street he frequently walked along when he first arrived in Tinseltown as a teen.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Shawshank Redemption star said, "I used to take the bus from here to Burbank to go to work. When the bus was late, I would walk up and down and throw my cigarettes down.
"Now I have the honour of having this done to my star."

Former BLINK-182 rocker TRAVIS BARKER has thanked fans for their support and paid tribute to the doctors who treated him after he suffered burns in a recent plane crash.
The drummer and his pal Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein were the only survivors after the Learjet they were passengers on failed to clear a runway in South Carolina and burst into flames. Four passengers died in the crash last month (Sep08), including Barker’s assistant Chris Baker.
The star is currently recovering in a burns unit in Los Angeles after being discharged from hospital in Georgia - but took time out to post photographs of himself in hospital on his personal website.
Writing on his MySpace blog, Barker praises hospital staff as "all bomb" and says, "Like the doctors said from the beginning, its (sic) been a slow recovery process. I am coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday." And Barker is enthused to see how well Goldstein is recovering from the devastating crash, adding: "Seeing him after he was discharged was an inspiration. I saw just how awesome the doctors’ work here is, and got to see how well he is doing. I am so happy to see him doing well, and we are both so lucky and grateful that we are alive today." But the rocker is hopeful he will be discharged from medical care soon. He writes, "Now I’m just counting the days until I can leave. I cant wait to get home to play drums with my son, and go for bike rides with my daughter.
"I can’t wait to see the pictures from Landon’s "Jack and Sally Nightmare Before Christmas" birthday party that we had for him today. I am bummed that I couldn’t be there, but thank God Ill be around to see many, many more."

LISA MARIE PRESLEY has given birth to twin girls.
Presley, daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, and her fourth husband Michael Lockwood welcomed the babies on Tuesday (07Oct08).
The newborns, whose names were not given, were delivered via Caesarean section. They weighed in at 5 pounds, 15 ounces (2.7 kilograms), and 5 pounds, 2 ounces (2.3 kilograms).
Presley’s representative Cindy Guagenti tells People.com, "The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home." The girls are the 40-year-old’s third and fourth children, and her first two with Lockwood. Presley is also mother to Danielle Riley, 19, and Benjamin Storm, 15, her children from her first marriage to Danny Keough.
