SIR ROGER MOORE has hinted he smoked marijuana - after befriending famous "non-smoker" TONY CURTIS in the 1970s.
The James Bond actor starred alongside Hollywood legend Curtis in iconic British TV series The Persuaders! after ending his run in action show The Saint.
And he admits he was surprised at his co-star’s habits - because Curtis was a prominent anti-smoking campaigner at the time.
Prior to filming began on The Persuaders!, Moore visited Curtis’ Los Angeles home, and was shocked to discover an ashtray in the house.
He tells U.K. TV host Jonathan Ross, "Two months later Tony arrives (in Britain) - Heathrow (airport). They find marijuana on him. He was lucky - he got fined 50 quid (pounds)." When Ross asked, "Did you ever share a doobie (marijuana)?", Moore smiled and replied: "No… not with Tony!"

ANGELINA JOLIE has a new favourite photographer - her boyfriend BRAD PITT.
The movie stud has used Jolie as his muse for a series of candid photographs published in the upcoming issue of W magazine - and she’s thrilled with the result.
Jolie, who has posed for the world’s best snappers, admits she’s impressed by Pitt’s determination to master the camera and become a true artist - even if that means an awful lot of self-criticism.
She explains, "I love his photography. Some people have a hobby, and they find the quickest way to it and are very pleased with the outcome right away.
"But he’s someone who will really study the camera - he’ll get the most complicated one and really understand the science behind it.
"And he’s very critical of his own work. I’ll see a photograph and think it’s amazing, but he’ll see all the different reasons why it can be better, and he’ll work very, very hard to improve it."

ANGELINA JOLIE has topped a new list to find the most popular celebrity face.
Forbes magazine’s new U.S. tabloid survey suggests more people are likely to buy magazines with the new mum’s face on the cover than any other star’s.
Ironically, Brad Pitt’s former wife Jennifer Aniston, who topped the list in 2007, came in second.
Jolie won in all Forbes categories - for sales, likability and most covers.
Tragic star Heath Ledger came in third, while Jamie Lynn Spears and Nicole Richie rounded out the top five.

FRANK LANGELLA and MICKEY ROURKE will wrestle it out for next year’s (09) Best Actor Oscar, while FROST/NIXON, MILK and THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON are musts for Best Film nominations, according to Academy Awards experts.
Revered movie awards watchers at GoldDerby.com have teamed up with a panel of top U.S. film critics for the first Oscars prediction list of the year.
The team agrees Harvey Milk biopic Milk and Brad Pitt’s new movie Button will compete for the Best Film prize with the movie adaptation of hit play Frost/Nixon, while Rourke and Langella have emerged as the critics’ favourites for Best Actor for The Wrestler and Frost/Nixon respectively.
All of the critics’ other forecasts are split.
In the Best Picture race, Slumdog Millionaire is also a favourite of the expert panel, while Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon) and Michelle Williams (Wendy and Lucy) all garner at least one vote in respective Best Actor and Best Actress categories.
The Oscar nominations will be announced on 22 January (08).

LATEST: Actor JOHN CUSACK’s alleged stalker has accepted a plea deal in court to stay out of prison.
Emily Leatherman initially dismissed the deal in court earlier this week (08Oct08), but pleaded no contest to a felony count of stalking on Friday (10Oct08).
She was placed on probation for five years and will undergo mandatory psychiatric counselling.
A Los Angeles judge also ordered her to stay away from Cusack, his home, and business for the next decade.
Leatherman was arrested outside Cusack’s home in March (08). In 2006, Cusack was granted a temporary restraining order, stipulating Leatherman must stay at least 500 feet (150 metres) away from him, his home, his work, his car and offices or companies where he does business.
In a statement read in court by the absent Cusack’s lawyer, the actor revealed he had never met his alleged stalker and now hoped she received the help she needs.

The roses CHRISTINA APPLEGATE crafted from ribbons while she was recovering from her mastectomy earlier this year (08) are to be auctioned off for her cancer foundation.
The actress learned to make the ribbon roses when she was a child and spent hours making hundreds of them as therapy while she was in hospital.
She explains, "I learned how to do this when I was about six, and then, for some reason, every time I get a ribbon in my hand, I start making these roses, and something I did in the hospital was make hundreds of these roses.
"Then I taught everyone who would come to visit me how to make them…
Anytime you would come into my room there would be, like, six people in there making these roses." Now, the actress has gathered all the roses together for an upcoming RightActionForWomen.org charity auction.

Pop punk PINK has no regrets about her marriage break-up with motocross star CAREY HART - she’s just thankful for the time they had together.
The So What hitmaker split from Hart in February (08) after two years together as husband and wife.
The former couple has remained close ever since and Pink, real name Alecia Moore, is glad she’ll always have a friend in Hart.
She tells Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine, "Of course I was disappointed that my marriage didn’t work out - you want it to work. I wanted the fairytale and we didn’t quite make it. Yes, it’s sad but I don’t have any regrets.

KILLING JOKE frontman JAZ COLEMAN has discovered he has an odd keepsake from tragic rocker KURT COBAIN - a 1987 Christmas card.
The punk icon revealed his mother had come across a stash of fans’ greetings cards and found one was from the late Nirvana star.
Coleman told fans of the eerie discovery during Killing Joke’s show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Thursday night (09Oct08) and then dedicated the group’s hit Eighties to the Smells Like Teen Spirit singer, who committed suicide in 1994.
The frontman also took a moment to remember late bandmate Paul Raven at the show, dedicating the band’s biggest hit, Love Like Blood to him.
Raven died from a heart attack in Geneva, Switzerland a year ago (Oct07). He was 46.

Rapper SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS stripped off for a naked swim while shooting his new Ciroc Vodka commercial - but he insists the saucy footage will never be made public.
The hip-hop mogul recently shot the promo, which pays homage to Frank Sinatra, at one of the late entertainer’s California homes.
And he reveals he got wet and wild with a video extra while the cameras were still rolling - but has that tape locked up for safe keeping.
He tells People.com, "Somebody got naked and got into the pool. Actually two people did. And one of them was me. We have that footage locked away and in a safe. I always keep cameras rolling. You never know what may happen."

The double-decker bus the SPICE GIRLS rode around on in the film SPICE WORLD is up for sale.
The vehicle, complete with its Union Jack paintwork, is up for grabs on auction website eBay.com.
The starting bid is a low $6,475 (GBP3,500).
Meatloaf drove the bus, dubbed Spicebus No.19 in the 1997 film.
In a posting on eBay.com, the current owner states, "The bus was made into good running order last year and the bus was on display at the World Scout Jamboree last year.
"The bus is sold with full mechanical preparation and new Ministry of Transport test certificate (class V). The interior is largely clear and can be readied for any kind of interior adaptation or restoration to passenger carrying format."
