JAMIE LYNN SPEARS is pregnant again, just three months after giving birth to her first child - according to U.S. tabloid reports.
The 17-year-old sister of pop superstar Britney Spears shocked the world when she announced last December (07) she was expecting a child with her boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
She welcomed daughter Maddie on 19 June (08) - and the National Enquirer claims she conceived a second baby with Aldridge just four weeks later.
A source tells the magazine, "Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding. She’d expected to have her period by early September. When she didn’t, she told a family member." The teenager reportedly then took a home pregnancy test, which came back positive.
The insider adds, "When the test came back positive Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out. She realises how dumb she looks for getting pregnant again so soon." The source claims Spears has yet to tell Aldridge, with whom she has an on-off relationship, adding, "Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mum Lynne are hysterical. Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out." A representative for Spears could not be reached to confirm the reports as WENN went to press.

LATEST: Hollywood star NICK NOLTE is reportedly contemplating legal action against the makers of his computer printer - because he’s convinced the machine sparked the fire that caused $2 million (£1.08 million) in damages to his California home.
The Cape Fear actor escaped with only minor injuries from the blaze, which ripped through his Malibu home on Tuesday (07Oct08) morning. The flames were put out by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
In a statement released after the incident, Nolte’s publicist claimed it was "an electrical fire" that caused the damage.
And according to website TMZ.com, Nolte has told neighbours of his intentions to sue the printer manufacturers for compensation.
A spokesperson for Nolte had yet to confirm or deny the reports as WENN went to press.

Hip-hop star LUDACRIS has defended attacks against the politically-charged rap he penned in support of BARACK OBAMA, after the U.S. presidential candidate slammed him for taking hits at senators JOHN McCAIN, HILLARY CLINTON and President GEORGE W. BUSH.
The rapper’s tongue-lashings of the trio in a mix-tape recording entitled Politics (Obama Is Here), prompted Democratic presidential candidate Obama to denounce the song earlier this year (08), calling it "outrageously offensive".
On the track, Ludacris raps: "Paint the White House black and I’m sure that’s got ‘em terrified/McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralysed/Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped… Get out and vote or the end will be near/The world is ready for change because Obama is here." But Ludacris has stepped up in defence of the track, insisting it was his way of motivating American youths to take part in the November (08) election.
He tells the New York Daily News, "At the end of the day, I was just trying to get people to care enough to register to vote."

Former ROLLING STONES manager ANDREW LOOG OLDHAM has ridiculed THE VERVE frontman RICHARD ASHCROFT over his loss of rights to the band’s biggest hit BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY.
Ashcroft used a sample from the Rolling Stones’ 1965 hit The Last Time for the famous orchestral loop which kickstarts the Verve track. The section was recorded by Loog Oldham’s side project, The Andrew Oldham Orchestra.
Although Ashcroft and his bandmates negotiated with Loog Oldham to use part of the riff, the band were later sued upon the single’s release in 1997 for using "too much" of the agreed sample.
The two parties settled out of court, with Ashcroft agreeing to hand over songwriting copyright and all royalties garnered from the track to Loog Oldham, and Rolling Stone rockers Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
And now, more than 11 years since the suit was settled, Loog Oldham has derided the Verve singer - insisting he added no creative input into the song.
He tells Uncut magazine, "As for Richard Ashcroft, well, I don’t know how an artist can be severely damaged by that experience.
"Songwriters have learned to call songs their children, and he thinks he wrote something. He didn’t. I hope he’s got (sic) over it. It takes a while." And Loog Oldham jokingly boasts of what the track’s royalties have brought him and his former charges, adding, "They (Jagger and Richards) have the watch and I have a pretty presentable watch strap. That’s my little piece."

Singer AUBREY O’DAY has been booted out of SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS’ pop group DANITY KANE.
The star was rumoured to have left the Damaged hitmakers, who were formed on the third installment of Comb’s reality TV show Making The Band, last week (ends03Oct08).
And the Internet whispers were confirmed on Tuesday (07Oct08) night when the fourth season finale aired in the U.S.
But O’Day appears to be more concerned with American politics - and has used the attention to voice her support for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
In a statement released to PerezHilton.com, she says, "I didn’t watch the finale, so I have no idea what story was told. The only comment I can make is… I wish that the world would focus more on the presidential election, the debates, the issues our country is facing, and the fact that if we don’t vote for Obama our country will suffer beyond repair." It is currently unknown whether Danity Kane will continue as a four-piece following O’Day’s departure - but online gossips are speculating that Combs will search for her replacement in a new series of Making The Band.

JENNIFER LOPEZ refused to undergo treatment when she suffered a crippling mini-nervous breakdown in 2002 - because she dislikes psychiatrists.
The new mum admits she reached breaking point while filming Enough and was left unable to talk or move, but she ignored relatives and friends who urged her to seek medical help.
She tells website The Daily Beast, "There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things.
"I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown. I froze up on set. I was like, ‘I don’t want to move, I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to do anything’. I had a nervous breakdown.
"I kept saying, ‘I’m not weak, I’m not weak’. It’s funny what tricks your mind plays on you. I just didn’t want people to think I was falling apart." Lopez was eventually forced to see a doctor after she was bundled offset into a car by her bodyguard - but she refused to take the medic’s advice.
She adds, "I’ve still never been to a shrink. I’m not a shrinky person."

LATEST: YOKO ONO has dropped her copyright lawsuit against a filmmaker who used part of JOHN LENNON’s song IMAGINE without her permission.
Ono and Lennon’s two sons Sean and Julian joined publisher EMI Blackwood Music Inc. to launch legal action against the makers of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.
Ono failed to convince a judge at U.S. District Court in Manhattan, New York in June (08) that production company Premise had infringed copyright law by using the track.
The court ruled in the firm’s favour based on a "fair use" doctrine.
The late Beatle’s widow confirmed she was willing to appeal the decision, saying she should have had the chance to say "no" to the filmmakers, and that they "looted" her out of the "ability to do so".
But Ono, along with EMI Records, decided on Tuesday (07Oct08) to halt any further action.
Anthony Falzone, who acted as lead counsel for Premise in the suit, says, "We think it was clear from the beginning that our clients had every right to use the ‘Imagine’ clip as they did, and we’re happy we’ve vindicated that right."

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star ASHLEY TISDALE can’t help but laugh when she is compared to her on-screen drama queen character - because she is "shy and quiet" in real life.
The 23-year-old, who plays show-off student Sharpay in the hit films, admits she couldn’t be less like her alter-ego - and being approached by adoring fans leaves her flustered.

BOND girl GEMMA ARTERTON is concerned her appearance in QUANTUM OF SOLACE may spell the end of her Hollywood career.
The British actress, who plays Agent Fields in the forthcoming 007 movie, has admitted she’s taking a risk by playing the superspy’s female sidekick because former Bond girls have seen film offers dry up after taking on the role.
But the St Trinians star isn’t too concerned with the prospect of a stalled career - because she doesn’t think too far into the future.
She tells Britain’s Daily Express, "Luckily, I haven’t had time to reflect but appearing with 007 carries the threat of a career crash, as has happened in the past. Sometimes it closes doors.
"I’m going to get compared but I’m not worried about it. My attitude to everything is just deal with what’s in front of me. I don’t tend to think far ahead."

British funnyman SIMON PEGG’S new film HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS AND ALIENATE PEOPLE has stormed to the top of the U.K. box office in its opening weekend.
The movie, which also stars Megan Fox, took $2.13 million (£1.15 million) to cement its place at the top.
Action thriller Taken debuted at number two, bringing in $2.02 million (£1.09 million).
Last week’s number one, Tropic Thunder, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black, was pushed down into third position with $1.83 million (£987,191).
Rounding out the top five was Abba musical movie Mamma Mia! with $1.43 million (£771,647) at four and in fifth place with $828,909 (£448,059) was Jason Statham’s remake of Death Race, which has dropped one place.

Emmy-award winning TV host and producer LLOYD THAXTON has died after a battle against cancer. He was 81.
Thaxton passed away on Sunday (05Oct08) at his Studio City, California home, after battling multiple myeloma, his wife Barbara tells Variety.
The writer and producer made his name on Lloyd Thaxton’s Record Shop, launched in 1959, in which he used puppet fingers, costumes and mime to introduce the latest rock ‘n’ roll hits.
The show later changed its name to The Lloyd Thaxton Show and went national in 1964. It was popular with teens and featured top recording artists including Sonny & Cher and the Righteous Brothers.
The host was well known for his parting catchphrase: "My name is Lloyd Thaxton", to which the audience would reply, "So What?".
Thaxton later went on to produce Fight Back! With David Horowitz, and The Today Show, winning five Emmy Awards out of 15 nominations.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, a daughter and two stepsons from his first marriage.

ZAC EFRON was devastated when filming wrapped on HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR, because his fellow cast members are like family to the actor.
The 20-year-old has starred in all three films of the Disney franchise, but has ruled out appearing in a fourth edition, which is in the pipeline.
And leaving the set for the final time was a hard day for him.

Olympic volleyball star MISTY MAY-TREANOR is recovering after an ankle injury forced her to pull out of U.S TV talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The two-time Olympic gold medal winner damaged her Achilles tendon during rehearsals for the hit programme on Friday (03Oct08).
She was forced to cancel her run on the show, and is resting up at home after surgery on Tuesday (07Oct08) to repair the injury.
Her spokesperson tells Usmagazine.com, "Thanks for all your concern and well wishes for Misty. I wanted to let you all know Misty had a successful surgery on her ruptured Achilles this morning. She is currently at home recovering. Her husband, Matt, is with her." May-Treanor appeared on crutches and with her leg in a cast at the end of the show on Monday (06Oct08), telling viewers: "I heard a pop. I was doing the Lindy Hop. I thought I flew out of control and hit the judges’ stairs, or it felt like I got hit in the back with a baseball bat. Then, I just couldn’t put weight on it." Her dance partner on the show, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, added: "This whole thing is really sad."

Eighties star ADAM ANT has hinted he may be tempted back onto the music scene to collaborate with British rockers the KAISER CHIEFS.
The Stand & Deliver singer, who won the Icon Award at the Q Awards in London on Monday (06Oct08), hasn’t released a new album since 1995’s Wonderful, but is considering making a pop comeback.
And hitmakers the Kaiser Chiefs are keen to help his return to the spotlight.
Ant - real name Stuart Goddard - tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, "I love the Kaiser Chiefs and I’d love to be able to work with them. Their first album is one of my all-time favourites and I still listen to it all of the time." Kaiser Chiefs keyboardist Nick Baines adds, "I was that excited about meeting him that I missed my dinner (at the awards).
"If we can do something with him it would be a dream come true. We’re all really up for it."

British actress SARAH DOUGLAS has reportedly launched an attack on her late SUPERMAN co-star CHRISTOPHER REEVE - branding him "dull" and "difficult" to work with.
Douglas, who played baddie Ursa in two of the iconic superhero movies, has spoken out about her true feelings for Reeve, who died in 2004 from a heart attack after years of being wheelchair-bound following a horse-riding accident in 1995.
And the 55-year-old apparently admits she wasn’t his biggest fan on the sets of Superman and Superman II, insisting he got wrapped up in playing the beloved role.
According to Britain’s Daily Express, she said: "I’ve never really spoken about Christopher because he is no longer here to defend himself.
"But I used to be continually asked about him and, choosing my words carefully, would always say he’s very much like Clark Kent: a real gent - very polite and perhaps a little dull.
"I never really knew him that well
. I socialised with everybody else but not him
. But at the beginning he was a very fresh-faced young American and at the end it was difficult
. He definitely got caught up with his own Superman image." And the actress soon realised she wasn’t the only one struggling to work alongside Reeve - she alleges Margot Kidder, famous for her role as Lois Lane in the films, described him as "a right pain in the a***".
And Douglas admits this made her feel better about her own opinions, adding: "I was so relieved that somebody else had found him tricky."

OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has kept his promise to British fans by taking to the stage just weeks after he was attacked during a performance.
The Wonderwall star was left with three broken ribs after a charging fan pushed him onto a monitor at a festival in Toronto, Canada last month (Sep08), forcing the band to prematurely end their North American tour.
But Gallagher, who promised fans he would make a full recovery in time for the British leg of their world jaunt, kicked off the band’s U.K. dates in Liverpool on Tuesday (07Oct08).
The guitarist failed to mention the incident which had left him bed-bound for weeks, but British boxer Ricky Hatton warned the crowd not to consider repeating the incident as he introduced the band, saying, "Anyone jumps up tonight, they’ll have me to deal with."

Rapper KANYE WEST drew inspiration for his new video LOVE LOCKDOWN from CHRISTIAN BALE’s killer character in 2000 thriller AMERICAN PSYCHO.
The Stronger hitmaker unveiled the promo for the new single - on which he sings all the way through - on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (07Oct08).
And West admitted that he based parts of his musical creation on the 1980s Wall Street murderer Patrick Bateman that Bale portrays in the big-screen adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel.
He told chatshow host DeGeneres, "On this album, I kind of embody Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.
"You know at the end of the movie (that) he didn’t really kill anyone. (I just liked) the clean aesthetic and the way he was all about labels. I wanted to express all of that in the video." The hip-hop star also revealed his forthcoming album 808s and Heartbreak will be something of a departure from his usual style.
He added, "I had all these ideas and I just needed to get it out as an artistic vision. I don’t have a rapper’s name, (but) I have really good taste and anyone who likes it probably has really good taste too." 808s and Heartbreak is due to be released in the U.S. on 25 November (08) three weeks earlier than originally planned.

Rockers LINKIN PARK have cancelled the Chinese leg of their current tour because frontman CHESTER BENNINGTON has suffered a back injury.
The band was forced to axe a show in Los Angeles on Monday (06Oct08) due to Bennington’s injury.
And the frontman’s ailment has meant the cancellation of a further four shows in China and one in Taiwan until 21 October (08).
The string of gigs were part of a fundraiser to benefit Sichuan, an area ravaged by the devastating earthquake in May (08).
But the band has vowed not to let the charity down - it has promised to contribute to the nonprofit organisation, Music for Relief, which will benefit post-earthquake reconstruction.
And the Chinese concert promoter and the World Bank have agreed to match the donation.
No further details on Bennington’s injury were available as WENN went to press.
