TAYLOR ‘HEARTBROKEN’ AFTER NEWMAN’S DEATH
DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR is devastated following the death of former co-star PAUL NEWMAN, according to friends.
Newman died after a battle with cancer on 26 September (08), at the age of 83.
And Taylor - who starred with Newman in the award-winning 1958 movie Cat On A Hot Tin Roof - is heartbroken.
Taylor’s actress pal Margaret O’Brien says, "Elizabeth is feeling sad that there aren’t many of the greats left. Those who are hanging in there, such as Kirk Douglas and Dorothy Malone, are in some cases pretty frail."
