Pop superstar MADONNA’s 2008 tour has already raked in more than $120 million (GBP65 million).
The 50-year-old singer’s Sticky & Sweet tour has only taken in Europe so far, but 16 of her 17 concerts have been sell-outs - and she will kick off the North America leg on 4 October (08) with the first of five already-sold-out performances in New Jersey and New York.
She will then head to Boston, Chicago, Denver, Toronto, Montreal, and Miami before heading to Mexico City, where two performances in 100,000-capacity stadiums have also sold out.
The Madonna roadshow also arrives in America on the back of a wave of critical praise. British newspaper The Times said of the London leg of her tour, "In the premier league of song-and-dance spectaculars, the queen of pop remains unrivalled and undefeated."
