MOORE WROTE LIFE STORY AT DAWN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:27 pm

JAMES BOND star SIR ROGER MOORE had to pen his life story in the early hours of the morning - because anecdotes he had trouble recalling would come to him in his sleep.
The forgetful movie star had to think back more than 30 years to his 007 debut in Live and Let Die in 1973 when she started writing his memoirs, My Word Is My Bond - and he often struggled to remember magical moments.
He admits he often woke in the middle of the night and remembered an amusing anecdote from his past - but he’d forget it by the morning.
He reveals it was such a "slog" to recall all the details that he fell into a routine of getting up early every day and working on his manuscript at dawn.
Sir Roger tells WENN, "Sometimes it was easy, sometimes it wasn’t. The thing that really drove me mad was I would wake up at three in the morning with an idea and (think) ‘Ah, I remember that, yes, my God, I did that’ and then go back to sleep happy and content that I’d thought of something new. I’d wake up (later) and I’d forgotten completely what it was.
"I found that writing between five and eight in the morning was the best time in the world because the phone does not ring and you have no distractions, apart from dustbin vans reversing and things like that." Moore’s autobiography is released in the U.K. this week (beg29Sep08).

JONES IS CONCERNED ABOUT AILING COLE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:18 pm

Music legend QUINCY JONES has voiced his concerns for ailing pal NATALIE COLE fearing the soul singer has cut herself off from friends and family as she battles Hepatitis C.
Cole was hospitalised last month (Sep08) after suffering a medical setback, prompting Jones and other music industry friends to reach out and offer her support - but they couldn’t reach her.
The producer now admits he’s very concerned about Cole and desperately wants to get in touch with her.
He says, "She’s not doing well right now… She’s in New York and we’re trying to reach her but we can’t get through." And Jones insists he thinks he can aid her battle with the deadly liver condition thanks to a medical breakthrough.
He adds, "We had a doctor we met at a benefit the other night that says he has the new technology that could save her with Hepatitis C, so we’re trying desperately to reach her to get in touch with her because she’s in the hospital as we speak, with the dialysis and everything."

He tells America’s Globe, "I’m 99.99 per cent sure that Eliza Presley and Elvis Aaron Presley are half siblings." As well as the scientific proof, Yates reveals his client has "sworn testimony from family members… relating to who her biological father is." GHALIB CALLS ON RADIO HELP OVER SEX TAPE STORY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:48 pm

BRITNEY SPEARS’ paparazzo ex ADNAN GHALIB has taken to the airwaves to slam reports he’s shopping a sex tape around - but accepts he’s "one of the most hated men in America".
Ghalib, who was dating Spears during her January and February (08) meltdown, has already denied the existence of a sex tape, featuring himself and Spears, and now he’s using his contacts in the media to spread the truth.
The snapper called in to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest’s Los Angeles radio show on Thursday (02Oct08) to further comment on the sex tape reports, but he refused to go on air.
Instead, he agreed to talk to Seacrest’s sidekick, Negative Natalie, and allowed her to relay his comments during the show.
But he warned her, "You’re gonna get hatemail" for appearing to defend him.
Natalie said, "He said, ‘I know that people hate me, I know that I’m one of the most hated men in America.’" The radio co-host then revealed, "Everything he said was in consideration of Britney’s feelings… He didn’t want it (sex tape story) to overshadow the good stuff that she’s doing… He was very nice."

CRAIG: ‘BOND CURSE RUMOUR IS OFFENSIVE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:48 pm

JAMES BOND star DANIEL CRAIG is appalled by the recent rumours of a "curse" on the set of forthcoming 007 movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE - dismissing the idea as "offensive".
The production of the film was marred by accidents - including a crash which left stuntman Aris Comninos critically injured and an Aston Martin sportscar being accidentally driven into a lake.
Craig also suffered his fair share of injuries - the actor was rushed to hospital after slicing off the top of his finger; he suffered a bruised eye and fractured arm, as well as requiring eight stitches to repair a gash in his face caused during a fight scene.
All of the disasters led internet gossips to speculate about a film curse but Craig insists the mere suggestion of it is ridiculous.
He tells Britain’s GQ magazine, "The thing about the Curse of Bond thing is that it’s f**king offensive, really. Let’s be honest. It’s f**king offensive.
"There’s a risk in everything we do and we literally have the best people in the world who do this and every precaution is taken to minimise the risk. But there is a risk. And there’s no blame. Taking my finger as part of a ‘curse’ that’s offensive. This is what we do but it gets magnified and taken out of context."

MOORE: ‘I WAS TOO OLD FOR BOND’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

JAMES BOND legend SIR ROGER MOORE is convinced he looked like a "dirty old man" as the superspy - because he grew too old for the part.
The actor played the suave secret agent until he was 58 years old, and knows that his steamy clinches with young star in his final two Bond films Octopussy and A View to a Kill - might have left audiences squirming.
He tells WENN, "Of course I was getting long in the tooth. I was 58 when I finished. My god, Gary Cooper was seemingly an old man when he was about 56 doing Love in the Afternoon with Audrey Hepburn.
"And I started to realise. When the leading ladies came in and they were younger than my daughter, I thought ‘Hmm, this is getting on a bit’. And then…god, I could have had them as granddaughters. It becomes rather disgusting - dirty old man." But despite the criticism from some movie fans that he played the role for too long and should have retired earlier, Moore insists he does not regret a thing about his time as 007.
He adds, "Well, I still got paid, and had a lot of laughs. I didn’t regret any of it. I note that occasionally when I look at the internet and I’ve typed in a reference and then suddenly up comes my name again and then I see the blogs where (people write that) I was too light and I was too old.
"I would say to (my assistant) Gareth, ‘Jesus, they hate me’. He said, ‘You realise that people who sit down and blog have got nothing else to do - they’re all bitter!’ So I say, ‘Well, they’re all bitter’ - sod ‘em!"

STONE FIRES BACK AT COURT’S BOTOX STATEMENT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

SHARON STONE has fired back at reports from leaked court documents suggesting she once planned to inject Botox into her son ROAN’s feet to stop an odour issue, insisting the statement is "a complete fabrication".
A highly critical Tentative Statement of Decision, relating to Stone’s most recent child custody battle with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein, claimed the actress wanted the eight year old to receive Botox treatments for his "foot odor".
Stone’s high-powered attorney Marty Singer has now released a statement on his client’s behalf, in which he states, "This week it was reported in connection with Sharon Stone’s custody dispute that she wanted to have her young 8-year-old son undergo Botox treatment at this time for his feet.
"Sharon Stone never made this statement. It is a complete fabrication.
"Sharon loves her son Roan and only wants the best for him." Stone lost her battle to increase visitation time with Roan during a court hearing last month (Sep08), and a judge ruled that Bronstein would continue to have "permanent sole physical custody of child".
