STARS’ PROTEST PLACARDS TO GO UNDER THE HAMMER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:24 pm

Rap legend CHUCK D, JARVIS COCKER, MICHAEL STIPE and BILLY BRAGG are auctioning off placards they made for a photospread in U.S. magazine Under The Radar’s Protest Issue to benefit charity War Child International.
The stars posed by protest signs they made for the issue and then signed the placards so their messages of peace, love and politics could be auctioned off for a worthy cause.
Chuck D used Public Enemy’s ‘Fight The Power’ as his slogan, while former Pulp star Cocker offered ‘Stop Buying’ and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne suggested ‘Just Be A Nice Person’.
Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow got political with ‘Use Your Vote’, OK Go simply urged people to ‘Give A S**t’ and Billy Bragg fought for ‘Artists Rights Now’.
All the placards are currently available to view at UnderTheRadarMag.com. The eBay.com auction begins on 30 September (08).
