DOHERTY REFUSES TO END GIG
Rocker PETE DOHERTY refused to end a recent gig in Bournemouth, England playing on despite organisers’ attempts to stop the concert.
The Babyshambles frontman was performing a solo show at the Bournemouth Opera House on Wednesday (24Sep08) night.
The singer’s set ran over the venue’s agreed curfew and staff tried to halt the gig by lowering the stage curtains.
But Doherty refused to let their efforts deter him and the concert ended in a shambolic fashion with the star still playing from behind the screen.
