FISCHER FINDS LOVE ONE YEAR AFTER DIVORCE
Actress JENNA FISCHER has found love again one year after announcing her divorce from Hollywood filmmaker JAMES GUNN.
The Office star stepped out with new boyfriend, writer Lee Kirk, at the weekend (21Sep08) for Sunday’s 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
When asked to introduce her companion, Fischer coyly described Kirk as "my super cute boyfriend," adding, "We met through mutual friends. We’ve actually known each other for a long time. He went to college with an old friend of mine." And the in-love actress admits she was eager to introduce her new beau to her acting family.
She says, "The Office (U.S. version) is like a second family, so it is an important introduction to me, particularly (co-star) Angela (Kinsey). (Kirk) is a writer and he is originally from Dallas, so Angela immediately liked that I was dating a fellow Texan.” Fischer ended her seven-year marriage to Gunn last September (07) and has been dating Kirk since January (08).
