APPLEGATE & CLOSE IN EMMYS BOMB SCARE
CHRISTINA APPLEGATE and GLENN CLOSE were caught up in a bomb scare at the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night (21Sep08), it has emerged.
The stars’ limos were sent away from the glittering ceremony in Los Angeles after police heard a loud noise. It was later revealed the noise was not a bomb, but an air gun.
Tom Hanks and Kevin Bacon joined Applegate and Close in walking to the ceremony, reports Access Hollywood.
Applegate told reporters, "That’s why I’m sweating right now, I walked three or four blocks."
