ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER’s replacement in the new TERMINATOR movie has fuelled speculation the California governor will make a cameo appearance in the forthcoming blockbuster.
Roland Kickinger, who was born in Schwarzenegger’s native Austria, takes on the legendary tough guy’s most famous role, cyborg T-800, in Terminator: Salvation.
But there has been increasing talk the 61 year old politician will make an appearance in the movie, which intensified recently after he was photographed dining with the film’s star Christian Bale.
Now Kickinger suggests fans of the sci-fi franchise really will get their wish: "It’s all very secret..
. maybe Arnold will even appear in the film."

BRAD PITT has beaten TOM CRUISE and BEN AFFLECK to the top of a new magazine poll to find Hollywood’s Hottest Dad.
Father-of-six Pitt impressed In Touch Weekly editors do much with his dad skills, they felt they had to give him the edge over Cruise, who has two adopted kids and a baby daughter, Suri.

Pop sensation MARIAH CAREY is to be named a global ambassador for a hunger relief charity.
The singer will front the Yum! Foundation’s appeal to raise money for the United Nations World Food Programme.
She will be unveiled as the organisation’s new frontwoman on Thursday (25Sep08).
Yum! owns restaurant chains Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC.
As ambassador, Carey will appear in posters in more than 36,000 stores in over 112 countries.

Animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is urging stars who wore Armani to the Emmy Awards on Sunday (21Sep08) to boycott the designer after he chose not to honour a 2007 promise to stop using fur.
Giorgio Armani told Time magazine "I spoke with the people from PETA, and they showed me some materials that convinced me not to use fur", but his latest collection features fur coats for babies, floral-printed fur coats and other furry accessories, upsetting the people at PETA.
The organisation’s vice-president Dan Mathews has already written to celebrity Armani fans like Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey, urging them not to buy or promote the designer’s wares.
In a letter sent to Cruise, Mathews writes, "Please be vigilant about any packages that Armani sends for Suri, as they could include bunny fur from his toddler lines.
"We imagine that Suri, like other children, has a natural affinity for animals, which is why we find it shocking that Armani is not only breaking his fur-free promise but also trying to lure children into fashion derived from skinned rabbits." And now Mathews is sending letters to Kristin Chenoweth, Glenn Close, and Heidi Klum, who all wore Armani to the Emmys.

Former SEINFELD star JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS has entered the same-sex marriage debate by marrying comedienne WANDA SYKES in an episode of U.S. sitcom THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE.
In the season opener, which airs on Wednesday night (24Sep08), the actress agrees to wed her pal Barb (Sykes) after she learns she is in danger of being deported to the Bahamas.
The straight couple stage a gay wedding in the backyard of Louis-Dreyfus’ TV home.

GREY’S ANATOMY star PATRICK DEMPSEY has apologised to U.S. politician HILLARY CLINTON for jokes made at her expense in his recent movie MADE OF HONOR.
The film opened with a gag about Clinton’s husband Bill’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky and the actor insists he felt uncomfortable about the scene because he knew the New York senator is a fan of his work.
And Dempsey even tried to persuade the film’s director to cut the jokes from the picture.
He says, "I felt quite bad and wanted to speak to Hillary about it, knowing that she’s a huge fan of (TV show) Grey’s Anatomy and has been going to see my movies since day one, but I just didn’t have the heart.
"So I want to say, ‘I’m sorry Hillary that I didn’t warn you about what was going to happen. I tried to get the scenes cut, only I didn’t win the battle.’"

Heavy rockers METALLICA have scored a second week at the top of the U.S. album chart with first full-week sales of 337,000.
The group’s Death Magnetic debuted at the top a week ago (17Sep08) after just three days of sales. The album has sold more than 800,000 copies in just 10 days.
Metallica keep Ne-Yo off the top - his new album, Year of The Gentleman, debuts at two.
Nelly’s first studio album in four years, Brass Knuckles, also debuts high, at three.
Meanwhile, Kid Rock’s Rock N Roll Jesus slips to four and former Hootie & the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker debuts at five with his solo country album.

ANGIE STONE and DONNY HATHAWAY’s daughter LALAH are to recreate a mini-WATTSTAX show on Saturday (27Sep08) to honour late great soul man ISAAC HAYES, who headlined the 1972 music festival.
The two women and singer Anthony Hamilton will perform as part of the 2008 Angel City Classic at the Los Angeles Coliseum, where Hayes and his Stax labelmates performed to a sell-out crowd in the early 1970s.
The Angel City Classic will also feature a step show showdown and an American football clash between Morehouse College and Prairie View A&M. Hayes died in August (08).

CLAY AIKEN’s decision to ‘come out’ to America’s People magazine has thrilled the nation’s leading gay rights organisation.
The singer, a new dad, has revealed he’s gay in the new issue of the publication, declaring, "I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things," and officials at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) are saluting Aiken for going public with his sexuality after years of speculation.
President Neil G. Giuliano says, "We congratulate Clay for making this decision and for setting an example for others and his family. As we’re seeing, more and more gay people, including celebrities, are living openly and honestly, and this has tremendous impact in terms of creating awareness, understanding and acceptance.” And former ‘N SYNC star Lance Bass, who ‘came out’ in People magazine in 2006, is also applauding Aiken for the big reveal and insists his fellow singer will appreciate he’s made the right decision in the months ahead.
Bass says, "Everyone’s going to be very supportive and he’s going to be the happiest he’s ever been.” And going gay might even boost his fan appeal: "I swear when I came out, I had more female fans.” Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, Aiken’s former mentor on talent show American Idol, insists the news is far from a shock to him.
The sarcastic music mogul says, "It’s like being told Santa Claus isn’t real.
Unbelievable.” Cowell adds, "Good for him… I don’t think anyone cares (that Aiken is gay).

E.R. star ANTHONY EDWARDS has blasted former castmate GEORGE CLOONEY for snubbing the chance to appear in the show’s last season.
Despite repeated rumours he will join a collection of the show’s past and present cast, including Edwards and Noah Wyle, when the show bows out later this year (08), Clooney’s representative insists, "He is on record as saying he is not coming back. It is something he has already done." But Edwards - who played Dr. Mark Greene in the show for eight years - is hoping the star will change his mind.
He tells Us Weekly magazine, "He’d be a fool not to do it." Dr. Greene died of a brain tumour during season eight. He will appear in flashback scenes in the 15th and final season.

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT have moved their family to Germany after leaving the French chateau they have called home for the last five months.
The Hollywood couple and their six children left the country on Tuesday (23Sep08), landing in Berlin’s Tempelhof airport.
Reports state the family will be staying Germany for about 90 days in a villa south of the capital city.
Pitt is due to begin filming the new Quentin Tarantino film Inglorious Bastards there next month (Oct08).
The 30,000 square-foot Palais Parkschloss on Wannsee Lake boasts a private helicopter landing pad, a dock and a full security system equipped with a staff of 14 bodyguards.
Jolie and Pitt - who signed a longterm lease on the French estate - have yet to confirm if they have purchased or rented the property.
