Sims held a sale in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday (21Sep08) to try and unload cases of free stuff she no longer wants.
A Spears family insider tells Life & Style magazine, "Alli literally got thousands of dollars worth of swag during that year she was at Britney’s side.
She hasn’t been working, so she needs the money more than she needs the stuff." Supermodel HEIDI KLUM is ready to expand her family - insisting she wants to have at least one more child with husband SEAL.
The mother-of-three shares two children with the singer - Henry, three, and Johan, one - in addition to her first child, four-year-old Leni, fathered by Formula 1 tycoon Flavio Briatore.
But she doubts the size of her family will match that of Hollywood super-parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who have six kids.
Klum says, "My big secret is that I always put my family first. My love, Seal, is number one and then our children are right behind him. I don’t think that anything is more important than them. We might have another one or two kids. I’m not sure we’ll keep up with Brad and Angelina though." Seal and Klum married in 2005.

COLIN FIRTH is set to play it gay again in designer TOM FORD’s directorial debut.
The British actor, who played a closeted banker in movie musical MAMMA MIA!, is the favourite to portray a gay college professor in Ford’s movie adaptation of Christopher Isherwood’s 1964 novel A Single Man.
Firth’s representative has confirmed the actor is "in discussions" over the role in the film, which will also star Julianne Moore and fellow Brit Jamie Bell.
Ford plans to begin filming the 1960s period piece in Los Angeles in November (08), according to Eonline.com.

Funnyman JIMMY KIMMEL helped celebrities on the red carpet at Sunday’s (21Sep08) Emmy Awards stay loose by offering them shots of tequila.
The late-night chat show host, who was among the presenters at the Los Angeles prizegiving, sent bumbling sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez to the Nokia Theater with the instruction to share as many tequila shots with celebrities as possible.
Rodriguez got steadily drunk after knocking back tequila with stars like Ricky Gervais, Teri Hatcher, Cheryl Hines, Sandra Oh and Evangeline Lilly.
Stunned Gervais initially refused to join in the fun, stating, "You’re working… and it’s four o’clock in the afternoon." The funnyman came back after knocking back his tequila, and asked Rodriguez, "Got any crack?" The drunk TV sidekick ended his pre-Emmy tequila session with his boss, Kimmel, after downing 19 shots.

WEDDING CRASHERS star VINCE VAUGHN could be calling in the wedding planners pretty soon after taking his latest girlfriend home to meet his parents.
The actor, who famously dated Jennifer Aniston, and his new girlfriend, Kyla Weber, dined at Chicago, Illinois sushi restaurant Japonais on 20 September (08) - with his parents.

SPIKE LEE forced the cast of his war movie MIRACLE AT ST. ANNA to suffer so much on set, one actor ended up in hospital.
The movie was shot over a wet and cold Italian winter, after actors had been subjected to a gruelling and demeaning boot camp, intended to recreate World War II conditions.
And a combination of Lee’s demands, bad eating and the conditions left The Wire actor Michael K. Williams in hospital.
He tells WENN, "My character has a nervous breakdown in the field, and to sustain that constant state of agitation for that many hours it kind of got to me. I had that jet lag thing going on and skipped a couple of meals. Then I was face down in the field and they had to get me to a hospital for an IV (intravenous drip). I wasn’t producing Vitamin B." Italian actress Valentina Cervi adds of the conditions on location, "We were all wet, and we were filming in two degrees below zero (Celsius). It rains in Italy a lot in the winter, and we were shooting in December. For the last sequence it took two weeks, and he (Lee) wanted us wet the entire time. It was hard sometimes." And Omar Benson Miller, who plays a private, describes the boot camp as "the bottom of the bottom," adding, "They treated me like trash. In boot camp, they treated me like a mule. I was always carrying the extra equipment and fetching the firewood. They were picking on me all the time. I had to keep my cool." Miracle At St.Anna is set for release on 26 September (08).

HERMAN MELVILLE’s epic high seas novel MOBY DICK is set for a big return to the big screen.
Wanted filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov has been hired to adapt a graphic novel-style screenplay written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage into a blockbuster.
Cooper tells Daily Variety the movie will have a modern feel - a world away from the 1930 original, which starred John Barrymore as Captain Ahab, and 1956 classic, starring Gregory Peck.
He says, "Our vision isn’t your grandfather’s Moby Dick. This is an opportunity to take a classic and capitalise on the advances in visual effects to tell what is at its core - an action-adventure revenge story."

Actor DEREK LUKE was left stranded on the Italian set of SPIKE LEE’s new war movie MIRACLE AT ST. ANNA after his pet dog ate his passport.
Luke, who was cast when Wesley Snipes’ tax woes forced him to pull out of the film, discovered his pet Shetland Sheepdog, Lily, chewing on the document shortly after the World War II film wrapped, while he was packing and preparing to return to the U.S.
At the movie’s premiere on Monday (22Sep08), he told WENN, "A day and a half before I had to leave, my dog tore up my passport." The distraught star, who plays 2nd Staff Sergeant Aubrey Stamps in the harrowing film, had to beg U.S. government officials to step in and help - and they did.
He adds, "My team got on the phone and called senators and councilmen to get me a new passport."

SHIA LaBEOUF’s mother lives in a "castle" built by one of the original WIZARD OF OZ Munchkins.
The Transformers star insists his mum, Shayna, loves life in the odd house, but he always feels like a giant when he pays her a visit.
He says, "A Wizard of Oz midget built a castle in Tujunga (and) she lives there. It’s the real deal. She lives in a small, little stone house built by a midget… She’s 5′ 1′’.

LATEST: TRAVIS BARKER is thanking God and trying to stay positive, after walking away from a plane crash that killed four people, including two close friends.
The former Blink-182 drummer and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein were the only survivors after the Learjet they were passengers in on a Friday night (19Sep08) flight to California failed to clear the runway in South Carolina and burst into flames.
Among the four dead were Barker’s assistant Chris Baker and his security guard and longtime friend Charles Still.
Barker is still in hospital in Augusta, Georgia, where he is being treated for third degree burns over his torso and lower body - but his friend and business partner Bill Nosal insists he is attempting to remain upbeat.
Nosal, the spokesperson for Barker’s clothing line Stars and Straps, says, "If you make it out of a crash of that magnitude, somebody’s looking out for you. He’s trying to stay upbeat."

THE NATIONAL and THE BREEDERS are teaming up to give their fellow Ohioans the chance to vote early.in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections.
The two local groups will perform at a rally in support of Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden on 16 October (08) at Fountain Square in Cincinnati, Ohio and they’re making sure fans can vote by providing buses to local polling stations.
A statement from The National reads, "Ohio residents can vote early beginning on September 30th, so we’ve lined up charter buses to take registered Hamilton County voters to the polls on the night of the event.
"The National are incredibly excited and honoured to have the opportunity to support Barack Obama’s inspiring candidacy for President.

PINK has blamed her hectic life as a pop star for her marriage break-up confessing she became sick of trying to organise quality time with her ex, CAREY HART.
The couple’s two-year marriage ended in February this year (08) and Pink, real name Alecia Moore, is adamant that she still loves the motocross racer but their busy lives drove them apart.

DAMON ALBARN is bringing his band GORILLAZ out of retirement for a sixth album, just months after announcing the CLINT EASTWOOD hitmakers were finished for good.
The former Blur frontman reveals he and co-creator Jamie Hewlett spent the summer (08) concocting a change in direction for the animated group.
He tells CBC News, "We came back from summer holidays and realised we could do exactly what we wanted to do with Gorillaz. Essentially, (animator) Jamie just had to agree to draw the characters again. ‘Cause I just do what I do anyway. We’re not entirely certain (what direction the album will take); we generally just go with our gut." Hewlett adds: "I’m so f**king bored of drawing those characters. But then we had a moment where we had a new angle on it… I’m gonna adapt them."

Rapper KANYE WEST is developing a new puppet show project for U.S. cable TV network Comedy Central.
A 30-minute pilot for Alligator Boots, has already been shot.
West has teamed up with comedians Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla’s Jackhole Productions for the project, which has been described as hip-hop meets the Muppets.
West and fellow executive producer Rhymefest will serve as musical directors on the show, which is scheduled to debut in 2009.
According to Billboard.com, West hosts the pilot. Like The Muppet Show, the idea is to have a different celebrity guest host for every episode.

BOB JONES, a former Motown boss and MICHAEL JACKSON’s longterm publicist, has died at the age of 70.
Jones worked with Jackson for 35 years, after starting out as a PR executive for the legendary Detroit, Michigan based record label.
He was fired by the star in 2005 during Jackson’s trial on child molestation charges, and went on to co-author an unflattering book entitled Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mask.
According to reports, Jones suffered a fatal heart attack at his home after returning from a bike ride, although further details were unavailable when WENN went to press.

Rapper 50 CENT’s plans for a new computer game have been thrown into jeopardy after its maker Vivendi Games was taken over by rival company Activision.
The In Da Club star has been preparing for the release of 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand, the follow up to his 2005 release 50 Cent: Bulletproof.
The shoot ‘em up game was being developed by programmers at Vivendi Games, but the firm was recently brought into the Activision fold.
And the merger has fuelled reports 50 Cent will not get to release his second video game.
A spokesperson for Activision says, "We will not publish other titles that previously were part of the Vivendi Games portfolio and are currently reviewing our options regarding these titles." 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand was due to be released this autumn (08) on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.

AMY WINEHOUSE’s husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has turned down a second opportunity to leave jail early - after rejecting an offer from prison officials that would send him straight into rehab.
Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 27 month sentence at Highpoint prison in Suffolk, England for causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and perverting the course of justice.
According to reports, officials offered to cut his stay by more than two months if he agreed to seek treatment.
Just last week (beg15Sep08), he was told he would be released if he went to live with his mother in Nottinghamshire, England and wore an electronic tag an offer he also refused.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "This will be another blow for (Amy). Blake could have gone to rehab and sorted himself out but would rather see out his sentence in prison. All he wants is a free reign when he leaves, which means living with Amy back in Camden (in London)."

Shamed pop star GEORGE MICHAEL has flown out of the U.K. in a bid to avoid the media following his weekend drugs bust.
The Careless Whisper hitmaker was arrested by police in the Hampstead Heath area of north London, close to his home in Highgate, on Friday (19Sep08).
He was found to be in possession of class A and class C drugs - cocaine and marijuana - and was released with a caution.
Michael apologised to his fans for his actions in a statement released on Sunday (21Sep08), and is now trying to stay out of the spotlight by flying out of the country on Tuesday morning (23Sep08).
The 45-year-old is reported to have boarded a jet operated by the exclusive London store Harrods at a private airfield with his partner Kenny Goss. As WENN went to press, their holiday destination had yet to be disclosed.
